Still not getting pregnant...

So I have been swaying for a while now for a boy, Our first attempt was in June, then we tried again in August and again in October. Whenever my husband and I wanted to have a baby its always been one try and it happened. Im starting to think maybe I am at the age where it maybe it's to late for me or just harder for me, I just turned 35 in October. We are going to try again in November and December and then maybe give it a break. Its so heart breaking when AF shows up or my temp drops. At first I thought maybe it was because I was using baking soda, but this was our first try without it and still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to up my chances? I noticed that I get egg white CM before my Ovulation strip turns + it usually goes away about the day before I get a + but we usually dont bd until 10 to 11 hours later, should we be bding before I get a positive? I do remeber with my 3 year we bd as soon as I started seeing egg white cm, but she did turn out to be a girl, but I was also not on the He diet or taking supplements. So this is what I am taking, One A Day multivitamins, fish oil, folic acid, wheat grass and just begin taking Ubiquinol Coq10, is there anything else I should be doing to help me get pregnant without not messing with my boy sway? I am just really in shock that I am not pregnant yet, also should I start BDing when I first start seeing the egg white cm, been temping and using ovulation strips. Someone help please..

Have you tried the SMEP way?

Also baking soda kills the sperm and this could sway pink!

I think you are probably ovulating earlier than you think. I would bd as soon as you see cm, aim for 3 bd in fertile period if you can (not in 1 day) & add vit d3.

I would drop the baking soda, just keep on the HE diet and keep trying, it can take longer than you think, for me it was 10 months, goodluck

Yes I think you might be right, I think I will start bding every 2 days.

Add vitamin D , check how much you have in a one day , up it to 1000 iu

Also try to get more sun exposure in the morning [emoji4]

That's very little CM. How much water do you drink daily? I would suggest you take guaifenesin (robitussin) 5-7 days before expected ovulation and be sure you are drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water (if you weigh 150Lbs, you'd drink 75oz)

Also, it seems like you don't BD often enough. I do believe that for boy it is recommended to BD every 2-3 days plus 3 consecutive attempts in the fertile window (morning, night and next morning).

Yes I think that amount of vitamin D is in my multivitamin, Atomic said that would be enough. There is not much sun out right now just lots of rain. No have not tried any of those things, maybe if November does not work I will try them. Thanks

I do get CM for about 4 or 5 days, but it seems to go away before my Ovulation strip turns + or my temps change. I already do the guaifenesin. And I do need to up my water intake. And going to start the BDing every 2 days. Thanks

So sorry to read your having problems conceiving, I did as well with trying to conceive number four after falling pregnant first time with the other three. I found it so frustrating, much more than I thought. I was swaying pink and in the end I had to loosen up my sway, less strict on the diet and add more attempts, I did compromise my sway but I was getting fed up, and reckoned the longer I went on swaying and not getting pregnant the more likely I was to stop swaying entirely and just try to get pregnant. I am not three months pregnant and find out this week if my sway worked. It's such a tough decision between compromising the sway and increasing the odds of conception. Step is great and I would totally went this route if it had taken me any longer to conceive, good luck! X

Hey, I think we have spoke before on here while you where still trying to get pregnant, thats wonderful that you are now, a very huge congratulations to you, and I hope your sway worked!! Can I ask how many months did it take you toget pregnant using the smep method?

I did not use smep, I would have definitely progressed to that if e3d's had not worked for us but it did. Goof luck to you, it is really a frustrating process! X

Baking soda really, really seemed to prevent pregnancy for our swayers in the early days of the site (barely anyone uses it any more).

Are you trying to do timing?? Because waiting that long after a positive OPK is going to really cut odds of conception.

I would have you start BD much sooner than that. I'd have you BD every 2-4 days starting after AF ends and then when you see the egg white, you can BD every other day if you want to OR you can have 3 attempts starting at your first positive OPK. Whichever seems easier.

Please guys, stay away from the royal jelly and bee pollen. I know it has this mystical reputation, but all it is is a concentrated shot of B vitamins that make you feel revved up (like a 5 hour energy drink) and a tiny amount of protein and fatty acid that you're already getting in the HE Diet. Additionally the high dose B vitamins really mess up people's menstrual cycles and the type of protein in it is a very powerful allergen that many people are allergic to.

One a day has enough Vit. D you don't need to take more unless you are actually deficient.

Hello I've been waiting for you, so happy you able to reply to this :). Im not doing baking soda anymore as last attempt in October, we had an the attempt in October but did not use the baking soda. I was doing
timing, but I have also through that out the window so after AF ended we have been bding every other day, and I would so like to get 2 attempts in the day I have egg white CM and 3 the day I get a + OPK. Thanks

Excellent!! Do keep in mind that it takes people doing nothing to sway, an average of 3-6 months to fall pregnant so it may still take a month or two after stopping the baking soda. Sending you all my sticky blue dust.
