I was going through some of my old notes from back in June this year when I first started to research about swaying. I found something about soft drink / soda.
It said that diet soda will lower PH, is that true?
Should I swap to normal soda ?

Yes, diet soda contains artificial sweetners which lower pH and many of us ttc girls include it in our sways - some of us also include normal soda. I think many of the ttc boy mums are soda drinkers and I believe most have chosen to drop it all together.
yes it's true if it contains aspartame. Pink swayers are drinking diet drinks for that reason. Full fat versions with real sugar should be fine!
Thanks
Yep stay clear of the diet soft drinks! I would even try to cut back on regular too if you can, otherwise have lemonade :)
I agree with ZB, they are not good for you or for fertility in general.....most don't drink them at all when swaying blue. Not that one here and there will kill your sway or anything....
Although, actually, must add that I think Dr. Pepper (which is also my favorite) was a daily staple for Atomic with all of her pregnancies.
I have never been a soda drinker and have many boys,i would not drink much if i were you.
Better no soda at all. Only club soda. I drink V8 low sodium hot&spicy and V8 fusion , green tea with lemon and pineapple juice, club soda. pretty much that's it. Also some water and maybe apple juice.
If you are drinking diet soda, you may have just solved the mystery of your low pH! Stop the diet drinks immediately, they sway pink.
Yup, I do love Dr. Pepper but I almost always drink it WITH meals and not as a meal. Protein + carbs = boys, so if you want to have full-sugar soda on the blue diets, just be sure you're having it along with a meal that has a fair amount of protein. Otherwise it will make your blood sugar spike and then crash.
Of course, when TTC blue it is best to get your cals through more nutrient-dense foods (like drinking fruit juice rather than pop) because otherwise people end up getting way too many calories and gaining a lot of weight.
