    Blood-tinged EWCM (after Rephresh), but no +OPK??

    Hi Ladies,
    So I'm nervous that I may have messed up my sway.... In preparation for my first girl sway attempt this coming week, I used 1 full applicator of Rephresh on cd10. Started using OPKs every day, and while one on CD12 was close to positive, it was not quite as dark as the control line, so I thought nothing of it. Then, that night, I had *TMI alert* gobs of EWCM with some faint lines of blood and some opaque white chunks. I've read that Rephresh can result in some funky discharge so again, thought nothing of it. Today is CD13 and CM is still egg white-like with some faint but bright red streaks of blood.

    Now I'm nervous that I may have ovulated and just not used the OPKs at the right time to catch the LH surge. In my test cycle last month, I got a +OPK on CD18, so I expected something similar this month. DH has been abstaining since CD9 with the plan to DTD at +OPK.

    Have I completely missed my chance this month? Should I disregard my CM since I used Rephresh? Should I just BD ASAP? I'm about to use Rephresh again tonight (1 applicator every 3 days), and really hope that I see a +OPK in the coming days, but now I'm doubting myself and what's going on with my cycle.

    Anyone else ever use Rephresh and have a similar situation? Any advice? Thanks in advance.

    **Edit** Attaching a photo of my OPKs. The times are sporadic as we've been out a lot these past few days. And now I'm testing almost every time I'm in the bathroom bc I'm paranoid. Even used two brands simultaneously to make sure they're consistent. CD12 was the closest to positive, but not quite dark enough. (Apologies if the photo is too big and sideways -- can I change this from my iPhone?)

    if it's bright red, that doesn't sound like ovulation spotting to me, it sounds like cervix bleeding - when you approach ovulation your cervix softens and can be easily injured, and if you're taking low dose aspirin or cranberry it can exacerbate bleeding and make something that never would have bled noticeably, bleed a fair bit (and the RepHresh may make it more noticeable by diluting it and making it come out mixed with the leftovers).

    I honestly can't say on the basis of your pic whether that is a pos or not, I agree it's not as nice a pos as the one from last month but some months you don't get a good dark pos. My advice is, whenever you are in doubt, attempt, and if there's doubt in your mind, keep testing and you can then attempt again if need be.

    Thanks, Atomic. I'm not taking any supplements other than folic acid, but I think I will attempt tonight just to be safe -- I don't want to miss my ovulation completely. DH has only abstained 5 days so far, do you think that's enough to make a difference? He's 33, taking licorice root, cal & mag; and we'll probably take a hot shower before DTD. I don't think he'll go for hurry-up FR, plus I just used Rephresh this morning -- I think that's a lot of swaying tactics already, right? I've been on the LE diet about a month, drinking diet Coke, always skip breakfast, and I've definitely got a cold this week.
    Can't believe it's already time for my Big Attempt!

    And one more thing: I'm still breast feeding a 2.5yr old (for naps, sleep & in the morning, plus cranky times lately). That could make my ovulation unpredictable month-to-month, right?

    I think the licorice root and one attempt are much more effective than abstain of a certian number of days anyway so no worries there.

    yes breastfeeding can make O unpredictable - but not everyone has this experience;
