Happy What DTD position are you plannig for your sway?

So my last three boys were conceived missionary. Which is supposed to be girl friendly. Because of this I'm thinking of switching this up. My SIL said she conceived her girl through 'doggy' (ew I hate that description lol). I'm debating using this position but just wondering others thoughts what you'll be doing. If anyone is around that conceived a girl doing that position let me know!

I know that diet will probably be the biggest factor for me as my diet with the boys definitely favored them. I thought this time around it wouldn't hurt to avoid missionary. Maybe even not J&D because that is something I always do along with not getting the big 'O' as I always do? I'm just thinking I should do opposite of everything I did with them? But not all those things supposedly 'sway' girl.

I don't think it makes a big difference. My DD & DS were both missionary babies. I think doggie is traditionally more boy friendly. But I believe that diet and frequency have a lot more to do with it then position

I don't think position sways to much. For our attempt we are doing missionary, I'm going to lay with legs and hips up for 5 min and then jump and dump. My son was opposite of this so we will see. I do think that the biggest factor is diet

DS1 was doggy style and DS2 was either missionary or me on top. I don't think it matters and would do whatever strikes you both in the moment [emoji6]! Above all else- have fun! Swaying can seem so clinical and work. I think enjoying yourself and relaxing as much as you can helps tremendously, in case it takes awhile to conceive.

I do not think position sways much if at all but that is one thing that doesn't really lower odds of conception a whole lot and if you want to change it up, no harm done.

FWIW I got my girl on top (got at least one boy that way too though). Doggy is said to be a strong boy sway but I can promise that just about everyone who got a boy sway opposite (wanted a boy, got a girl) was doing doggy and it is NOT NOT NOT any kind of a magic bullet. I also think that most DH's can "finish" easier in doggy style and I do think it might be good for some couples where the hubbies get a lot of anxiety when TTC or they've been doing things to sway that make it tougher on him, and have trouble "completing the transactions" so it may help pink swayers in that scenario.

oh and one thing I would avoid is the "shallow release". It never seems to work out (either they get it too deep and everyone panics, or it's too shallow and everything comes right back out and everyone panics), makes husbands get really gun shy about DTD and take forever to "complete the transaction" and it doesn't seem to help the sway much if at all anyway.

Whatever it takes! I'm 100% with XX. I really don't think position sways much if at all. 99% of the time I do missionary bc it's what I prefer, but sometimes it's necessary to switch it up.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

See I'm worried that since DH and I are so friendly maybe I should avoid all boy friendly things lol. But I just can't imagine us dtd standing and doggy has been our go to for awhile now. I could switch to me on top but I was thinking of not j&d since I did that with all my boys.

Glad to know someone else is going with opposite of what they did with child and not just what majority says sways. Goodluck to you!

Yea DH has lately been having troubles and doggy has been beneficial to his issues I think. Although on top would probably work too, it's just I don't get the big 'O' while on top which I guess if I decide to avoid 'O' then on top is the way to go. After reading mostly everything my head is spinning lol. I may just go with buying a plan because deciding yourself what to do is so hard!! LOL

You CAN'T avoid all boy friendly things though. It's just not possible and trying to do it will drive you so "martha" that you end up swaying blue trying to manage it all. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ypothesis.html

I can all but guarantee you that J and D had nothing to do with why you had boys. I ended up getting my girl by laying flat all night, but I wasn't getting pregnant. I really don't recommend starting off without J and D unless you are totally sure you can't get pg including it. That, to me, is a step in the wrong direciton.
