After looking at a lot of nubs, I'm surprised that some seem to come out as low as spine, and others out of stomach height. Does anyone know why? Does the "height" of where it comes out of correlate with gender?

i think it may be partly baby's position but mostly age of gestation. things change v. quickly between 11 and 14 weeks "below the equator" and it makes it look different. even a few days can make a huge difference 11-12 weeks range because that's when the Y chromosome kicks in and starts making testosterone and the genitals form. till then boys and girls are identical. but I am not an expert and so bumping for more responses
