Help! Should we DTD tonight? Can't decide what to do :(

Sorry for the anxious post... SO basically, this was our first 'proper' month of TTC. I've been on the diet properly since 1st January, did it mostly throughout December and always skipped breakfast and was vegetarian, however Christmas week I didn't monitor fat or protein levels.
I did cardio from 28th December to end Jan, but then we all got a chest infection so I didn't start up again with the daily 60-70min until around 20th Feb. I've been taking fibre, Vitex, folic acid and DH has been on LR and Cran, plus he's also gone vegetarian.
This month, because Vitex seems to be doing weird things to my ovulation, we decided to go for e4d. We had attempts on CD9, CD13 and today is CD17. Yesterday evening I had really strong ovulation cramps for half an hour which in the past I have always assumed meant the egg was being released. However, today I still have loads of EWCM.
Would you DTD tonight, on what could probably be the actual ovulation day? My OPK line was v dark yesterday but I didn't want to DTD as that would have only been 3 days since last attempt.
Is the thing about Y sperm being fast swimmers total rubbish? And do you think only having done the cardio for basically 3 weeks is going to harm the sway? Part of me wants to wait until next month so I'll have done more cardio and can hopefully time the DTD a bit better. Also, loads of EWCM this month despite antihistamines.
Sorry for the all the details and general neurosis over here!! Any thoughts would be most welcome!

Yes BD tonight. There is ZERO evidence that Y sperm swim faster, it's been disproven a hundred times over and was never ptoven to begin with.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Thanks maiden. I just worry that because I've only been exercising for three week, this has temporarily raised my testosterone which maybe explains the abundant EWCM and maybe puts me in boy territory? I took an antihistamine yesterday, I guess I could take another today too and hope it does the trick!

No. I don't believe that about exercise as done for pink and we don't even know that T sways. If your EWCM doesn't respond to the AH, you could try pseudoephedrine (make sure it's the right one, you'll need to show your license and sign a book in the US). I find it much more effective for drying up my CM. Also not all AHs are equal, only chlorpheniramine dries my CM at all, the other AHs do nothing. Pseudo dries my up MUCH more, though.

Is that sudafed? I think I have some in the cupboard. I'm in the uk where I think you can buy in supermarkets. If I've missed the window of opportunity this month, I'll try that next month. I don't get why the Le diet hasn't changed it - I've lost 14 pounds!

Yes Sudafed is the first brand name but not all types actually contain pseudoephedrine, so check the active ingredients.

I am on the exact same cd; 17, also dtd cd 13 and also had a positive ovulation test yesterday, and cramps last night. But i through every 4 days is 4 days between, so its 3 whole days between? I'm also on clomid. Sorry to jump in here!!

Dreamgirl01 how funny!! I did ask in a previous thread about e4d and maiden and atomic both said it is every fourth day, so 9,13,17 etc. I am kind of tempted to go for it tonight and see what happens, although still worried I've not been doing cardio for long enough. I did 80min today tho, just in case! How many months have you been TTC?

Hi Dreamgirl, people do it both ways but for most of us E4D means 3 days in between. So CD13, CD17, CD21 etc. Good luck with your attempt!

It is funny!! And exiting! This is our first month ttc, and i've been on the Le diet for 10 weeks. I don't exersice because i can't fit it in. Also i started the diet on the same day as you did! I think we will have a try again today. If my egg already is released it would have to go with the monday attempt. Really good that you are exorcising, good Job👍
