    Nuts and LE diet

I like having a serving of salt less cashews maybe once or twice a week. Is it ok to eat nuts even more often if swaying for a girl? Thank you.

Yes, absolutely fine, just keep within daily limits for fat, protein and cals.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

    Yes it's fine.

The thing that people find confusing with LE/HE Diet is that most foods can be a part of EITHER boy or girl diets. It's the overall diet as a whole that sways and not magic foods.

I like nuts for boys because they are protein + carbs + fats all together and it's better than the salty chips people gorge themselves on (because of misguided advice given by other sway sites and diets) and that's why I push them for blue. But that doesn't mean they can't also have a place in a pink diet too, just in smaller amounts and sticking within the limits for the day. In fact becuase they're vegetable protein and fat, they very well may be better than something like chicken if you are in need of some protein.

There are some people who want to try to mix and match diets (blending LE Diet with the mineral-balancing diets) and they would want to skip the nuts. But except for about 3 months at the start of the site during which time I tried to indulge that idea, it has proven to make too restrictive of a diet for people to try to "have it all" and make an LE Diet that also balances minerals. So while you'll occasionally read something directed at those people who do want to blend diets (and thus would limit nuts) for everyone on straight LE Diet they are 100% atomic approved as a part of an otherwise LE Diet.
