    Alcohol, Acidophilus, and Tea

    I have questions about a few things...

    - I see on the spreadsheet that alcohol tends to sway girl and people mention it in their sways a lot. Is there a recommendation for type/frequency/volume?

    - I saw on another spreadsheet that acidophilus tends to sway girls, too, but I've read conflicting info here about probiotics. Is this worth taking? I already have it and like to remember to take it anyway

    - I drank my weight in red raspberry leaf tea when I was pregnant with my son and read that it helps sway girl, too. I read peppermint or spearmint is good for a pink sway, as well? I ordered RRL and spearmint leaf and am planning to drink them, but my question is... should I only drink them at certain times? How much? And is it peppermint or spearmint? I'm so confused!

    Whatever you like, up to 2 drinks a night. Use your baseline alcohol intake as your guide - if you never drink you may only want to have 2-3 a week (at least at first) if you already have one a day, you may want to increase. No set amount but just take care not to drink more than a moderate amount since after all you are TTC.

    If you read anything about probiotics on this site (advocating it) it was really really old because within the first year of the site we saw such a strong trend towards probiotics swaying blue that we stopped using it for pink and now use it only for blue. It was the ONLY thing in our results that ever did worse than 50-50.

    RRLT DOES NOT sway pink. I know that's in the stats (and I have literally no clue why, I don't keep the stats for ethical reasons and try to allow the volunteers who do a fair amount of freedom in doing so) but it sways blue, at least on paper anyway. The only pink swayers I have using RRLT are people who have had a massive amount of difficulty conceiving (and these people are probably already more set for pink than the overall members of the site are anyway) and this has been the number of people I can count on one hand.

    I'm not sure I put mint in your sway plan, I'll have to look it up for you to be sure. I have a feeling that I did not but it's been a long day and I'm kinda tired right now, sorry. I generally use peppermint since it seems more widely available but you are free to use either one, really.

    Ok, thanks! I'll skip everything but the spearmint and save the RRLT for pregnancy �� I'm so excited to get to check out my plan! Thanks atomic
