    Cardio

Ok one hour of cardi... How high impact does this need to be?
I have a hard time being hands free to jump around for 20 mins let alone an hour. So I just spent an hour dancing with my baby. Hardly elevates the heart rate, wondering if I'm wasting my time?

Apparently holding a weight while doing cardio helps lose more calories not sure we're I read it but if you carry a child say 1mile you would lose more calories then walking 1mile without the child x

Put him in a stroller & go for a long walk? Or get a treadmill & a decent baby carrier & go for walk at nap time? When I was briefly using the Wii fit when ds4 was younger & clingier, I'd put him of my back in the MT or Boba & exercise.

I went out and bought a cheap heart rate monitor - I can go for walks all I want but unless I can get my heart rate up it's rather pointless. I was doing HIIT up til today. Hoping I can pull an hour of cardio off 6 days a week. 😁😏

It has to be intense for you & only you. Make yourself sweat a bit and get your heart rate up. That's all.

I guess it just has to be intense enough to where your actually burning calories...for me on the treadmill I normally burn 400 calories for that hour. Atomic would be better at answering.
