Ok, I am fully aware that supposedly before 12-13 weeks nubs can change, with most times a girlie nub turning boy. Those of you who have seen/guessed on lots of nubs typically how common is it? I see some nubs in the 11 week (usually toward the end of 11 weeks) that are already very obviously boy or seem to be going that way but just wondering how often a nub around the end of 11 weeks/beginning of 12 that is girlie does turn into a boy. Is it that half the boy nubs have started to rise by then or is it higher like 75% already starting to look boyish? Just wondering as I have a girlie nub at 11 weeks 6 days and am really hoping for a boy but just want honest opinions on my odds that this nub will start rising?

Nubs before 12 weeks

Hi, have a look on the ingender confirmed boy nubs. There are loads that look girly, even up until the 13th week. And a few even beyond. However, there aren't many confirmed girl nubs that look like boys. So as I have read somewhere the nub can rise and grow/stack- from looking flat and falked. But my observations are that it is less likely to look boyish and end up being a girl. Does this make sense? I wouldn't give up hope on a boy just yet.

You CANNOT get reliable stats on this that mean anything to you whatsoever. All you will do is create false hope or false despair because it doesn't mean anything to your own personal experience. I have seen nubs at 13 weeks rise and turn from what looks like a girl, to a boy. (look up Coralsky's nub shot if she posted it because I would have swore on the Bible that baby was a girl at 13 weeks but he's all boy)
11+ 6 is NOT NOT NOT NOT times a million, a reliable time to get a nub shot. Are there babies out there that look boy on a picture and turn out to be a boy sure. But there are still tons of "girls" (not really but look like it) at 11+6 that turn out to be boys.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

My son looked girly until about 15 weeks! They all develop differently and at different rates which is why nub theory is still just a theory. There is no set date besides the obvious 20 that we already know (and even then mistakes get made) that you can say yep at 13 weeks you'll know because every one will be different. My DD that is on the way was still very swollen at 15 weeks and a couple times I doubted until I saw it 3 different times perfect shots during the scan.
