A guestion about nubs and accuracy and measuring weeks. Please answer

Hi, im wondering about nub theory.

What is more relevant? If you calculate yourself that your baby is about 11+2 weeks old, but the scan measures the baby exemp. 12+2 weeks?

Im just wondering it, becouse everybody (including myself) adds two different "weeks" in the guestion. If you KNOW when you ovulate, does it matter what size the baby actually is..? If you think about the nub theory. Becouse in my own scan I thought that I was 11+5 but the doctor measured the bub over a week older.

Sorry for a bad english, these are rather difficult words.

And thank you for your answers

When I had my scan I asked the same question. I was 12+1 by EDD but the scan had me at 13+1 - I found conflicting advice but I did find a site that had a study of nub genders based on babies size (CRL)at scan and it appeared to be more accurate based on babies measurment dates. That was one study though Im sure there are others based on dated. Anyhoo it was accurate for me
