As I already have my BFP, I know it doesn't matter now but as I would like 3 children, I would just like to ask for future a pregnancy incase this one is another little boy.
As I had attempts on a Tuesday and a Thursday (predicted ovulation on the Saturday according to Opk) does this count as boy frequency with my attempts being two days apart?
I'm just wondering if next time, I should be avoiding the EOD thing altogether.
The fact I dtd 2 days apart makes me very much think this little one is a boy, which I'm fine with as I know this isn't my last child x

It depends on when you actually ovulated. I think Tuesday may be too far out to count as an attempt do you should be in with a chance of the one attempt. Did you sway? Xx

I'm guessing I ovulated on the Saturday as I got a positive Opk on the Friday night.
I didn't do much of a sway, no.
I thought Tuesday would count as lots of people seem to get pregnant with 4 day before attempts and seeing as I dtd only two days after that attempt, I thought would be boy frequency as it was an EOD timing xx

I think technically it is boy frequency, I would say it's a borderline 2 attempt conception. Hard to say, there may not have been any sperm left from the Tuesday attempt.
To answer your question, if you are wanting a girl next time, then yes I would say to avoid every other day frequency and just have the one attempt at positive OPK. When DTD before you get a positive, just have protected sex maybe unless you know for sure when to expect a positive.Mama to four sweet boys

I would count that as 2 attempts so in between what's ideal for pink and blue. But diet, exercise, and other lifestyle/biological factors sway SOOOOOO much more than number of attempts. How different was your diet/life from when you conceived your first?
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Quick question! :)
Maiden my diet and lifestyle were pretty much the same with my little boy. I dtd every other day for a week with him though, before positive Opk and beyond.
The only difference at all this time is that I last dtd the day before the Opk even turned positive. Although I know timing doesn't sway and frequency does.
Pretty certain I have another boy now xx

If you ovulated on Saturday there is no way that the swimmers from Tuesday were even left at that point.
But YES as a general rule I would have all pink swayers avoid eod.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

They may THINK they got pregnant with that cutoff but they most likely ovulated early. It's really, really hard to get pg with 4 day cutoff and I have seen people try it for YEARS without ever conceiving.
We do not know how the one attempt works. We have no idea. So it is possible that it counts as two attempts (if the sperm can somehow communicate with each other to encourage X or Y conception). Or, it's possible that it doesn't (if the sperm from Tuesday were all dead and gone). None of us know and since you're already pregnant my advice is to enjoy it and not worry about something that is already done that none of us know the answer to.!!! Thanks Atomic
I'm not stressing about this attempt, I can accept if it's another boy as this isn't my last baby so was also asking for future reference if it's best to avoid repeating what I did this time. Just wondered if my 2 attempts as they stand did class as EOD boy territory xx

Just having had a baby may be enough to sway pink for you. You never know. Most people don't need much of a nudge.
