DTD once usually means one single attempt, 3 attempts has the worst results so far so I'd leave it today

I am wondering this too. I've never had a +OPK so was going to hope OV was reliable enough to dtd the day before BUT I heard you get +'s on consecutive days so which day do you dtd??? x

Rainbow flower I would think (maybe someone more experienced over me will answer this better), that the first day with a +opk, to dtd once, because I would have never guessed I would have a 2nd +opk the next day.

Also, bear in mind that once you DTD those little swimmers will likely be hanging around for up to three days so you should be covered! x

you can have pos OPK for 5 min. or 5 days (and anything inbetween) but most people will O 8-48 hours after the FIRST pos OPK. Average is 36. This is true whether your test goes negative right after that or if you have positives for days and days afterwards.

You do not need to have a negative in order to ovulate. You do not need to have a positive at the time of ovulation either. The pos test is just like crossing a finish line, once the hormone reaches that certain concentration, the body has received the signal "ovulate now" and it's "heard" that signal even if the test then immediately goes neg. right after and it doesn't matter if the tests stay positive either, it was the first signal that your body heard that matters.

Now, sometimes your body can decide to ignore that signal, but that's another matter entirely!!!
