Iui sperm wash? Reading conflicting theories.. atomic??

So I've read IUI slightly sways boy. But then I read the the "wash" they do to the sperm to remove the a dead and slow ones prior to the iui sways girl??

Anyone have any insight on this? Atomic, your thoughts?

That is one way of washing the sperm that is not being that widely used anymore.

Lots of places have some "magic" procedure - washes, spinning,etc but people still get opposites with them. They don't work any better than swayiing and may even be worse.

They automatically washed the sperm before my iui. I didn't request it. So I was worried they unintentionally swayed girl.. but sounds like I shouldn't stress over it!

They HAVE to wash the sperm. That is how the IUI process works, the sperm is washed and pre-capacitated beforehand.

But the method of washing sperm that allegedly swayed pink is not used as much any more and also it never worked well anyway (if it did, we'd see better results with the spinning process, which uses those washes.) I've seen several people do the "magic girl wash + spinning" and get boys anyway so even if (BIG IF) the washing method they used was the supposed pink-friendly wash, it doesn't seem to work any too well!
