Swaying, Clomid and sperm meets egg plan? Atomic?

I have read and reread the special circumstances 2 thread a couple times and I always get hung up on one spot. The suggestion for both blue and pink swayers to use the sperm meats egg plan:

Which from what I understand entails multiple BDs around O, propping hips... the works:

"Try" every other night starting Day 8
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
Statistics coming in from women who write me show that about 40% of post-miscarriage women will get pregnant on the first try if they are faithful to the plan, about double the number of the normal population who are not on the plan. This assumes, of course, that you waited for a normal cycle to begin after your loss, and did not begin trying before having a period after a miscarriage. Many women do not ovulate in that first cycle.

Hubby is pushing for more attempts. He is mildly upset we are not BD'ing EOD like the doc tells us to. So this cycle I "gave him one", or at least he thinks so lol. I am fairly certain I O'd in the AM on O day because the cramping was something terrible but was completely gone by midday (think raging hurricane waves to calm waters in a matter of a couple hours... that is basically what happened. I didn't have a single cramp the whole day after that). So I "gave him" PM on O+1. I honestly don't think it was in time to make any sort of impact but to keep the peace at home and try not to be so "Martha" I kinda decided that if it did affect anything then so be it, we are pretty eager for this to be our cycle anyway for reasons I won't go into now, though some of you may know as I have mentioned them before.

So, anyway DH has been bugging me about how we are going to do BD next cycle if no BFP this cycle so last night I told him I'd post on here, think about it and let him know by the end of the week (end of the week was pushing it, lol, he wanted an answer right then I think ). It took a lot of back and forth but since AF isn't due until next week I convinced him to give me the time to mull it over and get some thoughts on here. Anywho, I was already thinking about moving to E3D or maybe E4D with a second attempt at +OPK next cycle, if we don't conceive, as it will be month 3 on clomid and with PCOS my hormones are easily thrown off and according to the special circumstances 2 essay months 1-3 are the best to conceive on clomid, esp if you have PCOS. But the suggestion of SMEP has also been a consideration.

I know adding attempts begins to sway boy more with each attempt added so it makes me wonder if the SMEP is really a good idea for a pink sway!? I know it'd make DH happy, knowing we are doing as much BD'ing as we can to get a BFP, but I don't want to junk my sway in the process. Don't get me wrong we would adore another little prince, but a little princess is our dream. I am doing everything in my power to not become consumed with this thought process and obsess and stress about it so I thought I'd throw it to you all. Get some unbiased opinions and go from there, instead of mulling over the "what ifs" of it all and going back and forth. As atomic said to me recently, I am trying an "exercise in Mary". Honestly, at this point to avoid the stress, I have even considered putting all the options on little slips of paper and having DH pull one out of a bag but I'd like a slightly more considered choice.... not an obsessed and stressed over choice but a choice that has been thought about a little longer than it takes to write a few scraps of paper out

Well, I wrote that essay a LONG time ago before we knew about the one attempt.

I much prefer you guys start off with one attempt, then do every 3 or 4 days, then every 3 or 4 days plus one more attempt at positive OPK before you go to SMEP.

BUT I would MUCH RATHER see people do SMEP than EOD - the reason being, if you're going to add attempts anyway, please do so in the way that actually increases odds of conception. EOD may not even DO that because if you end up having an attempt on O-5, O-3, and O-1, that's no better than every 4 days plus one attempt anyway really. O-6, O-4, O-2 may be even worse if the timing works out that the egg is gone by the time you DTD again on O Day. Do SMEP if you're ready to go pedal to the metal. If you're not, then stick with every 4 days plus one attempt at pos OPK.

Thanks atomic I didn't think that sounded right, but I'm no expert Sounds like a winning plan to me! it's a moot point and I get a sticky BFP soon!
