I started being vegetarian and trying to stick under 1200 cal diet and will be extra strict once the 8 weeks before attempt will hit . My Bmi is 19 so I decided to go the "couch potato" route . However , I am starting to second guess it since everyone is stating such great results with exercising 5-7 days a week .
My question is should I lower my cal intake a month before attempt to let's say 1000? ( since I am pretty small & not working out) or should I do extreme work out 6-7 days a week a month before ? Two weeks before ? Or not bother with exercise since I am not doing it for 8 weeks or more ?

No one should be eating only 1000 cals!! Atomic says that over and over because too few cals will stop ovulation. Do not go below 1500 cals especially with your BMI being so low.
1500-1800 cals, 40-50g protein, and 30-60g fat is generally what is recommended for LE diet. Exercise has good results so if you can fit it in, then do it but if I were you, I'd eat upper limits of LE to avoid dropping anymore weight. You can read about LE diet here:

I agree with this! My bmi was 20 when I started diet (I started eating 1700-1800 calories) but lost 3kg pretty fast so I aim for 1800-1900 since I'm on the low BMI end and I have maintained my weight for a couple of weeks now and BMI is 19.

The reason I was thinking 1000 cal is because if most people stay with in 1200 cal and work out for 1 hour 6-7 days a week they are burning soo much and body is functioning on even less then 1000 ,,, but if I don't work out maybe I can get that with eating less ? Hmmm ... also if someone is of bigger built they would need more calories then someone who is petite no ?

Yes but hear me out, there is a reason why Atomic emphasizes sticking to 1500-1800 calories. You will drop too much weight going below that while exercising. Even if you're not working out, you risk losing ovulation and if you don't ovulate, you can't get pregnant! Just because you've seen other ladies here eat only 1000 or 1200 cals does not mean it's okay. I was a long time pink swayer and I lost too much weight in the beginning and ovulation stopped. I am quite petite but I still needed around 1600-1700 cals to maintain my weight. It is way better to start out loosely on the diet and get stricter as you go. Please don't start out strict then end up on the diet for months because you're not getting pregnant which would mean you'd have to make changes to help you conceive that sway blue.

Posts like this make me sweat bullets. Please everyone, help spread the word since some people hear the wrong info on other sites and I don't have time to make accounts on every website on the Internet.
NO ONE should be under 1200 calories EVER and especially not someone starting off at BMI 19. Please up your cals IMMEDIATELY to 1500-1800 at the least, and you may need to go even higher, more like 1800-2000 calories. If you want to add exercise, up cals to 1800-2000 and see if you lose weight. You may need to eat even more while exercising.
Exercise has gotten such good results that I am inclined to have you guys try it when you can, just with eating more cals to compensate. I can't say how long to get best results, just don't have the data yet.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

NO ONE is eating 1200 cals a day and exercising - with the exception of .01% of people with severe PCOS and more than 50 lbs to lose. This has been literally the people I can count on one hand. All the others who tried this (against my strenuous objections BTW) stopped ovulating and had to come off diet and exercise totally!
