    Anemia and TTC boy

    Hello, I have a tendency to be mildly anemic, likely due to lots of tea drinking and low dietary intake of iron. Do iron supplements sway? Hopefully I'll absorb more iron from the increase in beef and leafy greens I'm planning but I was also planning on taking 65 mg iron (325 mg equivalent ferrous sulfate) 1 or 2x per day. Would that hurt or help my sway, or be neutral?

    If they sway, they sway blue! Yes I'd take them 1x a day.

    Thank you times a million for answering my questions! I didn't post about a prenatal before because I was working on my supps list. Would it be possible to get feedback on if the below looks good or there is anything additional to add or something to remove? For supps, is there a recommendation of the minimum time to do them before TTC? Also, what's the easiest way to keep track of taking all these? One of those weekly pill boxes?

    Daily for DW
    • One-A-Day Women’s orange (includes 1000 IU vit. D; 15 mg zinc; 18 mg iron)
    • 1000 IU extra Vit. D (adding this because I have low Vit. D levels)
    • 65 mg iron tablet (adding because slightly anemic)
    • Nature’s Made 500 mg fish oil
    • Culturelle probiotics
    • Qunol Mega CoQ10 Ubiquinol 100mg
    • Folic acid 2000 mcg in 400 mcg tabs spread throughout day
    • Guaifenesin 100 MG/5 ML 2-4 teaspoons (200 mg) daily five days before O through O day
    • 2-3 cups green tea
    • 5-6 glasses lemon water

    Wheatgrass?

    Daily for DH
    • One-A-Day Men's 50+ Multivitamins (includes 24 mg zinc; 700 IU vit D)
    • Qunol Mega 100mg CoQ10 Ubiquinol
    • Nature Made Fish Oil Pearls 500 Mg
    • NOW L-Arginine 500 mg
    • 1000 IU Vit. D
    • Culturelle probiotics

    Carnitine?

    That looks perfect to me. Very much like what I took when I got my 3rd and 4th boys!

    I am moving away from wheatgrass. I feel like the people who were taking the most, particularly in supplement form, were having opposites that couldn't be explained other ways so I'd give that a pass or use it only in the few days coming into O and then drop the rest of the time.

    Carnitine for DH does seem to help, if he's willing to take it.

    This is great, question for the guafinessin are you taking it for upto 5days till your O?

    you can start it as soon as your period ends if you want to and continue it till 3-5 days after ovulation

    but most people start it 5 days before O and continue through O day.
