Atomic please help with anemia and b12 deficiency

Hi Atomic, I’ve been extremely fatigued, abnormally and I’m tired all day. I’m never like usually this until a year ago and going vegetarian. I’m very anemic and thinking maybe b12 too. I have all the symptoms...headaches, extreme fatigue, ulcers In mouth, loss of appetite.
I googled this because I’m so tired and My concern is that I’m so worried of losing another baby. I read it can cause birth defects and multiple losses. My OB didn’t tell me this and now I’m freaking since we are trying this week.
Should I add Iron everyday? B12 pills? Stop drinking as it hinders the folate?
I was taking 2000mg of folate but the last 2 days have taken 4000mg because I’m worried since I feel terrible.
    Please help. Thank you

I answered this in another post already but if you don't see that one, you NEED to get in to see a doctor about this. I can't sit here from 10000 miles away making guesses about what may be a serious health issue. I do absolutely want you on iron daily but there are tons of things that can cause you to feel fatigued.

4000 mg folate may make things worse if it's a B12 deficiency. I don't think increasing folate is a solution here, because we don't evne know what the problem is. If you're eating eggs and dairy you should not have a B12 deficiency anyway and plus you were just on prenatals during your pregnancy and most people's bodies are really good at storing B12. My money is on good old iron deficient anemia, but again, so many things can cause severe fatigue including autoimmune and that can cause or contribute to losses, and needs to be checked out.

Atomic please help with anemia and b12 deficiency

Thank you! I emailed my OB and she thinks it’s just the anemia so I said I’d wait for bloodwork when I get pregnant. I’ve been taking the iron and feel 100x better. I’ve had a cold and I’m super sleep deprived from my kids who never sleep so I think all those things made me feel extra fatigued. I went to google and it freaked me out about the b12....i do not eat meat and haven’t eaten egg or much dairy since pregnancy so I think that worried me. I took clomid this cycle and I think I ovulated yesterday day 14...we attempted day 13 and day 11. Is that technically 2 attempts? 1 day before O and 3 days before? I miscalculated the E4d and then I ovulated earlier than I thought so pretty sure I got in too many attempts [emoji51] or do you think it’s okay since we had clomid?
Too late now I know but just curious haha

I also felt a lot of cramping from my right side on O day...does that mean I ovulated from the right side? I only had mild cramps from the left but strong from right. Is it also true right side O favors boys?

yes when I have had anemia I feel immediately better upon taking iron.

No, that's not too many attempts, I would have insisted you have an attempt anyway because going from CD11 to CD 14 would have been a long stretch. It may technically be 2 attempts but with the Clomid in the mix CD 11 for CD 14 ovulation is just further than I like to go.

No, that does not mean you ovulated from the right. You develop eggs in both sides every month and can feel O pains on both sides even if ovulation does not occur. In fact many of us have noticed worse pains in the side that doesn't ovulate since the ovulation can relieve pressure (kinda like popping a big ol' zit LOL). No way to tell and I have had many people think they Oed from one side only to have ultrasound and be shocked it was the other.

Scientists found only in a 3 month pattern L, L, R that 75% boys were conceived. All other 3 month combos were more equally divided. I woudln't read too much into that because your recent history has been so unpredictable who can even know how that might affect things.
