October TTC and 2ww Thread

I am definitely out. AF found me this morning. Very sad. Now I wait to start clomid in 2 days. It is going to be a long month. I really don’t want a baby born in Aug, Sept or Oct for family reasons so this is my last hope as this next cycle would still give me a July baby.

I am feeling pretty depressed.

My first cycle on clomid this go around. I did one month of clomid when trying to conceive our first baby 2 years ago. I didn't get pregnant the month I used clomid back then but I did get pregnant the next month. I really hope it works this time because I just want to be pregnant already. Feel like life is in limbo waiting...you know like my plan for life can't take the next step till this happens. The gap between baby #1 and hopeful baby #2 is widening and it is making me upset. I am regretting that I didn't stop breastfeeding sooner. If I had then I could have started the TTC process sooner. Ugh- I hate regret.

Ugh. I'm so sorry. So frustrating trying to plan and it doesn't work. I had such a good month with the moon phase and Chinese calendar and far from my birthday. But it didn't happen. And I ended up with full moon, boy on chinese calendar, and probably due on my birthday. And my youngest will be almost 4. But honestly it will all be fine and turn out how it should.

I hope you get to see it all work out perfectly, and soon, even if it's nothing like you planned. GL next cycle.

Thunder- sorry to pry but why is your cycle so long and is your doctor doing anything? Do you have pcos?

Hi GirlieCat,

I have no idea why my cycle is so long! From May this year they started getting increasingly longer but they were only about a week to ten days longer. Normally I'd have a cycle between 30-33 days long. The other charts also shown a clear temp shift but this time they haven't.

I haven't been diagnosed with anything, I did go to a gp Dr who said to wait it out a little longer (he wasn't my regular doc) I have an appointment with family planning who specialise in all things involved with the reproductive system but that isn't until October 26th.

So.... I'm not sure what to do.
