Scratch that I had a gender scan today just over 15 weeks it’s a boy I’m completely crushed. Didn’t think I would feel this bad. How long after having a baby can I sway?

Oh no I'm so sorry it didn't go your way and that you're feeling upset.

How sure were they? Usually they don't give confirmation till 18+.

You can sway right away as long as you're not breastfeeding. If you're breastfeeding it's best to wait till 6 months after to be sure the baby gets the best milk.

I’m not sure she didn’t say as it was put in an envelope so I don’t have a potty shot either but I guess once you see boy bits it must be pretty obvious. I can’t breastfeed it’s not possible for me so I would like to start straight away. How do I get a plan? Just to add incase it helps I drank a lot of diet drinks!

I would give it 3 months to recover postpartum too of course (though most don't want to start that soon anyway.)

If you got a boy doing diet drinks I'd skip them this time. Hypothetically I have noticed that people hitting the diet drinks very hard seem to have more boys anyway.

Yeah I'd like you to give it 3 months to recover before starting diet. It's necessary to be sure you're able to get and stay pregnant.
