Question for all you ladies trying this month & those who have already gotten there bfp....how long were you on the diet, or going to be on the diet if you get your bfp this month when you ovulated??
I ask b/c this month when I ovulate I will have been on the diet for 3.4 weeks -- so when I get my bfp (if I get it..) it will be 5.4 weeks. Do you think it is too soon for me to try? I have to say, I have been on and plan to stay very very strict. Am always only 1100-1300 calories a day, under 20 grams fat, 40grams or under protein & 600 or under sodium daily. The 4 days prior to o til day after I plan to do a mini fast (only 2 meals day, 1cup skim milk, 1 nonfat yogurt, 1 cup white rice)....I don't wan those boys thinking they can survive in me
Anyhow, would just like to hear from you ladies...thoughts and what your plan is on time on the diet.2005;

Why do people take aspirin? Can you get baby aspirin in Canada? I have been looking for it. What is the recommended dosage?

I read a sway- you can look where ladies post there sways- Her name is Maggiepie- she did the diet a very short time because she felt she couldn't do it long term and had a successful sway.
I think you should be okay- the recommended is usually 6 weeks but if you are being that strict and honest with yourself (lol) you should be fine!Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.

I think you used to be able to buy both types, but here in Canada (and at the stores I shop, at least), all of the Clearblue digis seem to be this type now. I bought a 2 pack and I'm planning to wait a week or two to test again so I'll hopefully see 3 weeks on there.
I'm actually really close with my Mom, and she doesn't judge me at all. Her hesitance is simply because she's worried about me. She was there when I cried my eyes out for 2 days after finding out ds3 was a boy, and she was there in the days after my m/c when I was at my lowest. She just doesn't want to have to see me suffer again.
I do definitely have lots of other family members who judge me the way your mom judges you, though. Especially my MIL - she seems to disapprove of EVERYTHING my kids do and I know she thinks I'm doing a terrible job as a Mom. She's told me before she really wants a granddaughter, though, so she'll probably be excited when she finds out I'm pregnant. I'm worried, though, that if I do have a girl she'll become her favourite grandchild and the kids will notice - she already seems to get annoyed by my boys after like 5 minutes with them. My Mom, on the other hand, loves every second she spends with my kids and thinks they're the most wonderful boys in the world. I have to agree with her....

lemon - I'm glad af finally arrived and put you out of your misery. CD1 gives you a fresh start - I really hope this is your month!
Baby Aspirin is actually called 'Low Dose Aspirin', and you'll find it in the painkillers section at any pharmacy or grocery store here in Canada. The bottle's blue, if that helps - just make sure you get the low dose type - 81mg. I forgot to bring Baby Aspirin on my trip, but pretty much everyone over 60 takes low dose aspirin daily, so I stole FIL's from his bathroom counter while I was at his house, and stole some of my Mom's while I was at hers!
