TTC Girl - January 2012

Hey Peony, I hear you on the DH part! Mine was game to TTC, and wants another baby, but he is flabberghasted it actually happened! He hasn't told his Mom yet because he knows she doesn't approve (she only wanted us to have 1, if that....)

I told my Mom last night and at first she was upset. "Pregnant, again????" (making it sound like I've like 5 kids already...) Then I said to her, "Mom I'll be 34 in April, I'm not exactly a teenager here." She stopped and goes, "Oh, right, yeah, I forgot how old you were." ....I'm the youngest so I guess I'll always be her baby. After the initial disappointment, she then grilled me about "am I bound to have another boy?" "What if it's another boy?" "How will I handle another boy?" AGGRRRRRRRRHHHH!

I then explained that I did all I could do try to concieve a girl, but that nothing is 100%, and that I would love this child, no matter what. I know she's still afraid of me getting my heart broken if it's another boy, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. And what exactly is the worst case scenario again? a healthy, lovely 3rd boy?

I could so take that.

so today is my first day of the diet and so far not bad at all, for lunch i had ..........

2 glasses of crystal light
fybogel drink (yuk)
coke zero
folic acid 1200
acidophilus
vitex 1600
baby aspirin
weightwatchers bagel with 2 small slices of wafer thin chicken
packet of unsalted crisps
2 weightwatchers lemon slices

and to be honest i feel quite full lol,

cals = 542
protein = 14
sodium = 308
fat = 14

that sounds yummy!

aww sorry she wasn't enthusiastic... I think mums are always shocked by revelations that we, their children, actually DTD and know that pregnancies are risky, even though most are straight forwards among other reasons!

Sorry your Mom gave you a rough time . You're right, though, the worst case scenario is you get another adorable boy to love .

aurora im sorry your mom gave you a little hard time about being pregnant, i think moms are just supposed to disagree with most of what we do all our life lol, and your right even if you did have another boy you will love and munch him up just as much, im in the same boat 2 boys and swaying for a girl, were doing TBM for our attempt at 0+12 and a million other things lol, but at the end of it if i dont get my princess il know i did all i could, just like you did, theres nothing wrong with trying to sway the odds in getting our DG, if we didnt do it we would never know if it would of worked for us or not,

PINK and KD...you might just be doing o plus 12 with OPKs like that.....so make sure you get them in there!!!!
Mine are super dark actually after I o!!!

What makes you think O+12? My OPK from AM did not look +? Will take another this afternoon.

Well, I thought for sure my CB monitor would pick up my surge this am, but it did not grrrrh? I saw the second line on it really good yesterday, but not so much this morning. How can my OPK's be +, and my fertility monitor not pick it up? Could it be because we DTD last night? Confused!

I did not use any RepHresh, cause I figured the full applicator on the night of CD14 before I went to bed would be enough? I did take Benedryl an hour or two before and I was almost asleep when we finally got the boys to sleep. I guess I should take it again tonight? We plan to DTD tonight as well. Finger crossed!

I had that the cycle before last (or the one before that) - OPKs picked up a definite pos, but CBFM didn't even have a 2nd line. I put it down to weird hormones? Temps did say I OVed that day or the day after, though
