Maybebabythree- weekend sounds fab!
Deaks - thanks, I have generally been very happy until the sonographer at 8 weeks said bubs was right side indicating boy but I know I can't base my thoughts on that, however, Im glad to be feeling this one is a boy so I can deal with any gd now, it comes and goes, its just thinking about not getting a daughter, not about having another beautiful bonny boy as he will be so loved and appreciated. So nice to have a place to come and let off steam though without being judged.
Have you relaxed the diet now?

I feel just the same as im sure everyone else does... its not about having a boy, its about never having a daughter. Fx you get a lovely obvious girl nub!
I quit the diet fairly quickly after ov and have been enjoying eating everything in sight. Have still forgotten how to cook all the meals i used to do though...its like i have a mental block! Luckily dh has been doing alot of cook recently2007

Its funny isnt it how you suddenly forget what you used to eat! I went straight back to proper meals and burgers lol. Im loving cheesy crisps now, cant get enough 1 pack won't do.
I read something today about diabetes and increases the risks of birth defects if you have high sugar levels in the first 6 weeks of pregnancy - I had type 2 with my boys in pregnancy so that kinda scared me but glad I had low sugar levels for the first 4 to 5 weeks of pregnancy after reading that.
Oh yes Ill def. be looking at the nub - although if its 50/50 Ill be gutted as wont want to get any hopes up! It will work out either way obviously, felt better after just writing it down and then managed to really enjoy the boys before bed. I hate thinking about gd and then looking at my lovely boys even though like you say, its not about them, its about not getting a daughter. Anyway, thats my gd moan for the day lol.
My signature said something about the baby being able to roll, and it just made me go 'awwwwwww' even looked for a couple of cute boy outfits to treat myself to or for my boys to kinda grasp the having a boy thing while feeling a bit down.

Deaks I so wanted to come back and see that you had got your BFP freaking awesome!!!!
Right going to try and catch up on posts! Had a lovely time skiing although I feel like I've been beaten up my muscles ache! Lol Stupidly started off on the blue slopes and i'm a newbee talk about throwing myself into the deep end!
The air and style even was amazing the riders are insane and we got to watch it from the V.V.I.P tower which was warm and had food! Good thing as it was -20 outside brrrr! All the people in the crowd had full ski gear on and were all jumping around was a great atmosphere. The whole trip was lovely great to have some child free time and stay in a 5 star hotel and all on Billabong!!
Right off to catch up!

oh wow, thanks ladies so many lovely comments!!! Its strange though because with both my boys i was just ecstatic to be pg and this time although i am so so happy, the whole swaying thing puts a bit of a taint on it iykwim?! Dont even want to tell people really as those few that know i have been swaying will be intruiged to know if it has worked or not and those that i havent are bound to comment on this one maybe being a girl. I just cant be bothered with the discussions! Im sure many of you have been in the same boat!
