things on this website are quite different to the traditional IG way... personally I found it good here because it's not just based on heresay and the recommendations are actually based on what the studies are finding! much prefer evidence-based swaying and everyone customising the sway to the one that fits them best

Sweetsister- attempt sounds great!! Thanks for input on clomid. I'm hoping for 2 eggs! Dont think dh will go for a fourth so here's my chance!!!

Thanks for the welcome and advice, rainbow. I have been trawling through all the posts and essays alright, but we were in the middle of our attempt when I got here do I just persevered as we were. Hopefully we'll get a BFP next week but, if not, I'll be coming back and checking them again and changing the plan. So much to take in!

Clomid users- hi! How did you all decide when to start bd'ing? Did you all use any lube or anything else? Trying to decide what to do next month! I would love for this to be over with!

hi all i got a +opk on first response today twice (morning and just) but my clearblue digital still no smiley so im thinking ive caught the early tail of my surge i was going for a 0+12 but unsure when to do this, i had an attempt 2 days ago so im hoping the sperm will have stuck around, il keep doing clearblue digis until i get a smiley, so i know i prob shouldnt be doing a 0+12 on clomid but i wanted to try this just once to see if it happens, when should i time this from as i got a plus at 9 am this morning but it could of been plus at 6am if you know what i mean can i have some advice im starting to stress ?

If I were you I would dtd at postive smiley and for a few days after. You could also use regular OPK's and when its almost positive but you don't have a smiley yet you can start DTD then.

Def don't stress. Especially over timing which doesn't even sway, but your stressing does sway (the "wrong" way). I don't think it matters if it was positive at 6am or 9am . Maybe what you can do is assume it would have been positive at 6am and go from there-and count the hours starting at 6am to when you would normally O after a positive digital. THis way you can make it more likely you don't miss the egg, and waste a month on clomid. Does this all make sense?

H&D i have no idea when i would O from a smiley digital or any other test, ive only ovulated twice before this month and that was from vitex, and i was only testing once a day so it could of been any time, should i count 48 hours after my +opk this morning at 9am ? if you were doing one attempt (even though i snuck in another 2 days ago (accident) when would you dtd on clomid ?
