To all you Ladies taking clomid:
Does taking clomid make you ovulate earlier, later or the same time?
Can you take supplements with it or no?

well with my 3 past O's on clomid it was cd 16, cd 17, and cd 19, with my fake O this last round of clomid it was cd 13, so to be honest i havent got a clue lol, i take clomid, folic acid, acidophilus and aspirin.
but i do know your not allowed to take saw palmetto or vitex with it,

do you need to take zyrtec or no? the clomid dries u up?

Also, I know it is supposed to sway girl -- do any of you ladies know someone who had a boy taking clomid?

I am just curious in all this info about it b/c if I do not conceive this month I think I might take it next month (even tho i don't need it) if it really sways girl a lot.

Didn't read anything will tomorrow. Late night working, had a minute, just wanted to tell you ladies that its a BFN spoke to doc. I knew it, here we go March! Now just hoping AF shows on schedule-due tomorrow.... catch up later

We all are sorry Hope...March is our month!

So I was thinking of adding an attempt to my plan. Have to do it carefully since we are abstaining. So what do you ladies think of this:
We dtd the night of my +opk after dh having abstained for over 9 days. I lay there for 90 minutes, get up & wipe and use a tiny fingertip of replens. Then 90 minutes later we dtd again. Lay there for 10 minutes then up and wipe.

I was thinking maybe that 1 hour after the 2nd attempt I could apply another tiny fingertip replens, go to bed and dtd 1 more time (a 3rd time in 10 hours) at 6am before my dh goes to work.

Thoughts?? Maybe I should just stick to the 2 attempts back to back since I am abstaining and knock out the am attempt. Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

It hasnt changed my o day to earlier or later but everyone reacts different to it.
And it sways girl because it dries up cm and makes it thick and hostile ,for this reason,but that also make it difficult to get pregnant at all,and you might have to use lubes which are boy friendly,then you are kind of back where u started IMO?If you dont need it i wouldnt take it,and i had creamy cm doing the diet alone so better off without it ?

I found this info Atomic posted about clomid and supplements...
Clomid with other supplements - DO NOT take Clomid with any other supplements that affect hormones (peppermint tea, soy, vitex, saw palmetto, licorice, green tea, cohosh, and any of those Chinese herbs that we're really not too sure about). Clomid affects a very delicate balance of hormones and triggers a chain of cascading hormonal reactions and we do not want to interfere with any of those. Some hormonal herbal supplements will actually render the Clomid inactive.

That having been said, some people have taken vitex for an entire month or more (so AF-AF, every day without stopping) and then stopped the vitex on CD 1 and begun Clomid THAT month after having been on the vitex non-stop for an entire month or longer. I know of two people who did conceive baby girls doing this. Be sure that if you choose to take vitex all month, you use reliable birth control and do not TTC while taking vitex from O-af. Vitex is not safe to take during pg.
