But I think you are right, if they tell you girl and you find out it is a boy 4 wks later, you will be really upset!
I went back to their website and looked and I couldn't find anything about not getting picture, so now I'm wondering if I read that on another site - I was researching u/s places like crazy today and must have visited about 10 different sites. When I call to make an appointment, I'll confirm that I can get a photo. This is what the site says:

Gender Assessment Only $60 + tax (*No 3D USED FOR THIS SCAN)

This session is to confirm fetal gender only
These scans are done at 18 wks and later
No charge if we are not 100% sure of your child's gender
There is no guarantee with scans done prior to 18 wks
3D images are not part of this presentation

Well, it seems to me if they didn't offer pictures, they would say it there! I would go for it if they give you pictures.

Sorry about the lost twin. Glad there is one healthy one in there, though!

purplepoet ~ so sorry for the lost twin glad you have one healthy bean in there.

Mocha ~ if you get a picture then i would go for it! As they do say if not 100% sure no charge (even tho this may not apply at 16 weeks) but alot of people get confirmed at this stage my DS was confirmed in 15th week, and of course we will be able to have a look

Pinkin ~ I totally understand how you feel about finding out the gender. I have been thinking about the same. I found out with all my boys with 1st 2 at 20 week scan but as i swayed alittle with DS3 we went for private one in 15th week as i couldnt wait. I was alittle upset hearing boy but soon got used to it and would not be without him now. But if i hear boy again i know both me and DH will be upset.
DH wants to find out so I think we may find out in secret and not tell friends/family as if it is a boy i dont want all the comments i know i will get.

Hope you lovely ladies are all well x

Purple, you were right about there being a twin. Did you suspect it because of your blood levels or something else? So sorry they did not keep growing.

HappyLea, I am not surprised you could not be without DS3 now, he is just adorable.

I can't keep up with all the posts! Hopefully I will get some free time on the weekend to read and reply to more. Take care everyone.

I am not able to upload the picture because of the size, even after resizing. Nothing much in the picture just a "lil raspberry". I asked them to keep the second sack out of the shot because I didn't want to have DH asking about it. I don't see the point in bringing it up to him.

Well I need to pack and get ready for our weekend away for DS1's 4th birthday.

Grats on one healthy bean, PP! Have fun this weekend, and sorry about twin, but amazing that you had sensed the twins!

Most of the time, my DH is pretty sweet and he is understanding about my wanting a girl. Sometimes, I guess it just grates on him, and he'll tell me what he thinks. He's really black and white kind of fellow too, Pinkin. Things are either right or wrong, there is not much middle ground with him.

I am actually a little scared and excited at the idea of a daughter. Maybe my husband is rubbing off on me too much! I think having a daughter would be so exciting and new, but the idea kind of scares me a little, because I'm so used to boys now, I think it would almost seem strange to have hot pink and baby pink stuff in our house! Obviously, I am still hoping for a girl, because I know how much I'd enjoy it (once I got over the fear of something new), and it would make my mom so happy, since she only has one granddaughter.

And also, while i do have a potential escape plan for #4, I really, really don't want to have to use it. I really think 3 kids is all I want. Maybe a few years down the road, a 4th would be OK, but being pregnant again so soon after DS2 is harder than I thought it would be.
