thanks Flava I think its the cord covering the nub or that area at least but when she was scanning me and measuring the neck fluid the head looked really round esp the forehead and I kept trying to look for the nub and all I could see was the cord and what looked like a fork down below. But who knows although I think its a girl...

I had a psychic reading today. First time ever. We did it via Skype and she said she thought the pregnancy was going to turn out fine and that I would have a girl. She said she saw 1 baby (phew) and that the baby would bring us great joy (don't they all!) and we would stop at 3 children (that will make DH happy).
I would love her to be right of course, but won't be setting my hopes too high. I have a chance to have an early U/S, so I was going to have it done at 6 weeks. I thought I would ask what side the placenta is forming on and test the Ramzi theory. I'll probably try everything with this pregnancy! Has anyone else gone down the psychic path with this pregnancy?

Yes Pinkin, I've booked one for 6 weeks. Just after my holiday. I just knew the right things to say to plant the seed of doubt in their mind about a possible ectopic, so they had to give me a form! Sometimes it helps to know what to say. I feel a bit bad, but not too bad! I can't wait to analyse your scan at 12 weeks. I doubt I'll even be able to post my pics on here. It doesn't seem to let me do anything. But I'll keep trying, and will definitely send one your way.
Have you had a blood test yet? I phoned for my results today but found I can only get them on Mon, Wed or Fri between 1-3.30pm. Bloody Darwin, they are so backwards sometimes. And the GP I liked up here has moved to Melbourne. Such a transient population. I asked for another one who will be around for the next 8 months!

WELL My dr said not to do bloods until 10 weeks????? He gave me the form but doesnt think I need to worry about it until then.. My gp is a very good dr and I had to wait 4 weeks to get into see him, I am seeing my ob on the 28th which is a lady!!!! I am so happy I couldt get into see her my dr said she is very good. So maybe she might want to send me for an earlier scan or early bloods I will be 8 odd weeks when i see her... This time around seems so much more relaxed then with my ds as in with ultrasounds and bloods!?

Don't we normally have bloods at 11 weeks as part of the nuchal screening? Is that what your form says it's for? My bloods are more for my curiosity, and for my naturopath who likes to know what my starting levels are like for certain things like iron and vit D. I also got them to check my thyroid levels as my Mum has hypothyroidism, so whenever I have a blood test, I see how my thyroid is going.
I remember my GP saying with my first pregnancy that statistically your highest risk ones are #1 and #3, so you being on #2 must be going to be smooth sailing!
