This is a super interesting thread!

Atomic, every time I think I fully understand the LE Diet, I see a post like this that explains it even more - and thus, I gain an even greater understanding of it. The diet used to confuse me a TON...but I'm learning more and more about it every day, thanks to your super informative posts! Thank you so much!!

Sweet baby boy, you are loved and missed more than you will ever know.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wonder what
you would have been like. I love you and miss you so much.
Rest now, my baby, in the loving arms of Jesus.

I'm just glad when you guys keep asking me questions and provide me the opportunity to explain. This was all coalesced in my mind and seemed obvious ~to me~ but did not always come across in the essays and diet stuff. The more I can help people understand, the more it will fall into place.

Even the stuff that doesn't seem to make sense at first blush, really DOES totally make sense and everything has an explanation. Any shortcoming with understanding is due solely to my lack of being able to express it properly so ask, ask, ask until it is crystal clear.

I just want to chime in and add,you can totally seem to be eating boy friendly foods, but actually be doing the LE girl diet.(unknowingly in my case)

I just had 3 girls eating 1 cup coffee for breakfast with non dairy creamer and sugar.
2-3 hours later a piece of fruit, maybe a piece of granola or cookie, et.
2 hours later another piece of fruit.
Lunch was some crackers or chips with lettuce, tomato, and pepper and a couple slices of cheese. Maybe a piece of candy.
Dinner was ice cream with peanut butter
**All I drank during the day was lemon water with a little sugar

I did have some healthy food, but very little protein and not even a meal until the afternoon

How many calories per day is that? Weren't you hungry? Eeek, you would be shocked (and probably a bit disgusted!) to know what my normal "boy-friendly" diet consists of!

Thank you so much for sharing!! It really helps to show that it's not the foods you eat that count!

I am not sure how many calories it was, but I would be STARVING by 2pm when I got the kids down for nap and finally had lunch. My lunch was really big though, a lot of lettuce, an entire pepper and I really would have like half the box of crackers or chips with that.

After the first couple hours in the am you don't feel hungry anymore, but it has just been harder for me to eat in the am while with the kids. I have 4, ages 4 and under. So I usually just eat when they are sleeping, lunch at nap time and dinner after they go to bed at 8pm. It's because I like to sit down and eat and not get interrupted so that only leaves when they are sleeping.
SweetPea-I definitely wouldn't be disgusted, I use to eat much more before I had kids I am looking forward to being healthy again, what I was eating was definitely not enough.

I have been doing better by having a hard boiled egg in the am, quick yogurt or homemade granola. Something I can grab and eat while taking care of the kids.

**Interestingly, when I got pregnant with my son all I drank during the day was watered down cranberry juice.

Atomic, could you please check again my sway http://genderdreaming.com/forum/add-...-boy-sway.html and point out where did I go wrong.

I was eating constantly in order to keep my sugar levels nice and even, lots of butter and full-fat yogurt ( saturated fat) and everything else boy friendly.

Was it my age that ruined my sway? Or the fact I didn't do enough weights during December when I conceived? Or is there something clearly wrong with my attempt but I can't see it? You know English is not my first language ( in fact, I use it mostly here lol) so I'm giving the best of me to get everything right.

Was it the fact that it took me over a year to conceive (declining fertility due to my age or God knows what?)
While I was perfect example of girl-friendly life style and was constantly semi-hungry, I conceived 3 times just like that.

Maybe I should have used PreSeed? Too late for that...I've read so many boy results from using real EW, so I stupidly thought it would work for me too.

Z, you did NOTHING wrong! Swaying blue is HARD and luck has such a huge part to play in it that I think you can do everything exactly "right" and still get an opposite. I think it's totally possible that things that happened and that we were/are exposed to that can be swaying for us or DH that are totally out of our control.

I think there are some things about the blue sway that we don't have figured out just yet...I'm concerned about the sodium intake in particular and I of course prefer you guys to include calcium and use Preseed, but I don't think those things can make or break an otherwise good sway. In the end, you just got an unlucky break and I'm sorry for that. I wish I had all the answers.
