No he wasn't sick at all. A perfectly healthy 7yo labrador, and was jumping around like crazy as usual when DH fed him in the morning. We have no idea what happened, he looked like he was sleeping up against the house in the sun We just hope it was peaceful for him. The kids are sad but I don't think they really understand he's not coming back yet.

I haven't heard about the 22 days just that you normally see a heart beat at 6 wks. How many weeks are you now?

Don't worry I just saw you're 22 days. So 5 wks 1 day? I think you may see a hb but it's still early.

I hope your dog went peacefully too. My eyes watered reading this. Labs are great family pets. I hope you and your family are ok. Dogs are so wonderful, but their time on this earth is short. They have such unconditional love for their families.

I agree they are just great family dogs, he was always great with the kids even when we brought DS1 home and pushed him back from no 1 position in the family. Still can't believe it.

So sorry Ruby, what a horrible shock, sending you a big hug x

I have been full of cold and feeling absolutely shattered most of the time, I go from feeling really hungry to not feeling quite sick and like I've eaten way too much when I haven't really.
I have an appointment on the 14th Sept to have my bloods done at the doctors, then I see my midwife again on the 2nd Oct when hopefully we will hear the heartbeat. I got a scan date through today for the 19th November when I will be about 19 weeks so hopefully we will find out the gender then. No way I can wait and see, I am far to impatient, and I would rather feel the disappointment now and then start getting some cute new boy stuff and pick a name etc so I'm totally fine by the time he arrives.
Feels like forever away until the scan, I'm so jealous of all of you having earlier scans! I will have to make the most of the excitement of looking at your u/s pics and finding out the gender in the meantime!

I will post a pic if I can get it on the computer! I am horrible with this sort of stuff! I had asked the tech if baby and placenta were to the right or left. At first she was confused and said there is no right or left side of the uterus. lol Then she said baby was to the left. I think I may just disregard what she said completely. She very well could have flipped the screen for the printed picture since I was asking about it... Ramzi is just too confusing.

This is my ultrasound picture tech dated it 7 weeks 3 days which would be impossible like I said, the minimum I could be is 8 weeks.

I agree Rosie. That's why I'm not asking...lol. I'll be so upset and the tech may have no idea what's really going on.
