Sending you a hug Suregena, wish I was still over in Yorkshire then I could have popped over and given you a hand. I know how it feels being the foreigner.
On the spotting brown blood is old blood so don't worry about that, very common when your period would have been due so 4 weeks, 8 weeks etc. With ds1 and this time I had a very small amount of bright red spotting on the day my next period would have been due (8 weeks) that freaked me out big style with ds1 but a scan at 9 weeks showed him to be totally fine. This time I tried not to stress too much and haven't had any more so my GP said it is common and not to worry unless I get pains or more red or pink bleeding. If you are really worried though then maybe go to your nearest early pregnancy unit when your hubby gets back and see if they can give you a scan?
Glad your little boy is ok, so scary when things like that happen! xx

suregena, I'm so glad your little boy is okay! I had a morning of brown spotting on Monday, and nothing since. I know that it's common, but I also know that, no matter what, it still freaks you out. HUGS!

That is so fun! That was so cute!!!
We told our family members informally and they all say they think it will be another boy. Of course! I guess it kind of makes me feel better b/c then they won't be surprised when it is another boy and I won't have ppl getting my hopes up. I'm going through a little gender funk and I'm not sure what I feel about gender.Last edited by NCBeachyGrl; September 22nd, 2012 at 04:52 PM.

Hopefully it'll stop now I can take it for one day! xx

LOL. I hate peoples comments. one time after my baby had died and we buried her, I was at toys r us, we were trying to distract the boys from all the drama going on at home and we had gotten stuff for my niece and nephews bday so it looked like a lot of toys and so she asked how many kids I had, and I pointed to my 2 boys and she said, oh "you don't want a girl?" I was like !??!?!?! Sure I want one, can you magically GIVE me one?? UGH people suck sometimes.
