    Waffles,
I am thinking of you, because I am totally wanting to take a break with this diet in the 2ww. Not a lot, but just a bit. I have gained 4 lbs, but REALLY want to gain 4 more to get up to my pre-preg. weight with DS, but man it's hard. I am so full after lunch! I weighed less with all my girls so would love to get those extra few

We have also been looking in to the Shettles method.
Hello Britt I think that the extreme gender swaying has been disproven, even to the point of lowering fertility for blue swayers so actually swaying them pink, but I could be wrong? Again, I think Atomic has written some articles about it somewhere, I'll see if I can look them up

    Shettles aswell, has been disproved

I personally would wait before attempting in your situation, just so the changes can happen in your system that way you may be waiting an extra few months to attempts but it would save maybe another 18 months if you jumped in before ready and had a another lovely little girl

If you are happy to just roll the dice then my advice would be to stop all processed foods now, so no sweets, cakes or rubbish. Lots of fruit and veg, try for 8 servings a day. Buy a large bag of peanuts and a jar of peanut butter and start working your way through them lol. Cut out any white bread and switch to a healthy multigrain bread, and if your not already, start taking a pre-natal, fish oil and wheatgrass supplement straight away to send a massive a nutrient boost to your system, it may be all you need GL and welcome

I know I have read that if you drop a feeding or two especially at night it could make your cycle return. There is also something about sleeping with a light on 4 nights in the middle of a month then complete darkness the rest and it can help make your cycle return.

    GL with the baby fever!!!!!

Oh, no clue how to make a ticker, but it's okay in a way. I think it would drive me nuts. I am trying not to think about it too much. So, only Day 4 and I think I have been OV'ng late so attempt should be towards the end of the first week of Oct.
I'd not heard that about the light for 4 days!! You shouldnt be encouraging me lol!! We will be moving Davy into a big cot finally some time this week, he is still jumping between the moses basket and my bed all night for booby, but he's at the point with his crawling where I am waking to find him climbing on my head, (hes only 14lb-ish so he still fits in the basket bless him), so he needs to be a cot now, my friends husband is attaching 2 toodler beds together bunk bed style for us this week, I will post a pic once their done as I started a thread a good while ago in preparation for this day and it would be nice to finally update it Im sure his moving to the cot may well signal the drop of the night feeds Imagine if we had a load of pre-xmas bfp's!!

What do you mean about the +OPK? Ahhh, I am using the CBFM and I am still getting the low reading, waiting for a high and then the peak to start to learn my cycles.
If you're using the CBFM, I guess it would be the same as your peak fertility days. Many women have 2 days of positive ovulation tests, OR they ovulate the day after their first positive (or peak reading, in your case). I tend to have 24 hours or less of a +opk. I think I'm actually one of those unlucky ones that ovulate about 12 hours after I detect my surge.

The only +opk that is important is the first one. You will O 12-48 hours after that. There is no need to keep doing opk's after you get the + first one.

ELP-The lighting think is in the Garden of Fertility book by Kate Singer if you are curious, but yes sounds like once he isn't with you all night AF will come. Your LO is like my DS, he was 14 lbs. at 6 months.

Thanks for explaining that to me. I am new to the world of CBFM and the OPK's so anything I can learn about them helps! I am on month one of CBFM but I am waiting for the peak days to double check with the OPKs. I am using Sept and Oct and "practice" months and hoping for 1st attempt in late Nov.

    THANK YOU!

    Some diet help!

I have messaged ELP and dilou for some diet help but wondering if all your blue swayers had some tips as well. I am so much more disicplined when I have an eating plan so I am still trying to create one!

The things I am stuck on:
    1) What foods/drinks did you have everyday or every week without fail?
    2) What things did you elimiate or cut out from your diet?
    3) About how much weight did you gain before attempt?

Thank you ladies for all your help! I know the diet is the most important so I want to make sure I do my best on it.

    1. Green tea every night. Fish oil every day.
    2. Processed packaged foods/sweets
    3. First attempt didnt gain weight but as the months went on i gained about 10kgs in 7 months.

I freaked out at the weight gain so actually started exerciseing and lost 6kgs when i fell pregnant. But i was still 6kgs heavier than when i concieved DD so i have my fingers crossed.
