Oh and with the heart thing, they're looking for specific defects with valves, holes in the heart, etc that won't register on the Doppler. They just want to get a good look is all. With Suzy they kept me in there quite a while because she wouldn't hold still and they wanted to get a good look - which I was actually glad because the tech didn't see a penis the whole time haha.

I don't have a computer anymorethat's the big issue
But YES definitely invest in the belly band or belt whichever suits you better it's worth it for me it gives me support for my bad back. I got mine from motherhood plus some free gifts lol but that's here in NY. Without it some days are tough because it really lifts my belly

Hello, everybody!! New to the forum!! I had a quick question! So I started taking Femaprin (Vitex & B6) and after 2 1/2 weeks I O'ed on CD47!! First +OPK in over 6 months! Anywho, I am 2dpo, should I stop taking it? Or wait til AF starts? I am not currently TTC, just try to regulate AF so that when hubby gets back from deployment we can be ready to go!!
Thanks for listening!!!

Welcome.gif MLee!
YES, Stop the Vitex, you should have stopped before you thought you were Oing hon.
Vitex is harmful in pregnancy so whether or not it stops O is not the only reason to quit taking it, it's so it doesn't harm your precious egg.
Just for the record I M/C in April and I had a +opk for several days. I kept taking the Vitex and there was a day I even took an extra pill thinking I would O! Well So that was like 7dpo..
Since then I've learned from other ladies that Vitex can cause multiple opks and also that opks are not an indicator that O has occured. My advice is stay off the Vitex until first flow day of AF, but take a preg test just to make totally sure you aren't pregnant, and then take opks and when the line is getting pretty dark but not there yet, go ahead and come off the Vitex.Age 75

Thanks, hun!! I am currently not TTC and I definitely O'ed!!!! My OPKs were only positive once (only 1 line for a week then BAM positive) and I sure as heck felt it!!! The other days it was negative. So I will stay off of it until AF comes?? Thanks for the warm welcome!!!

I should probably have said that I have a very mild case of PCOS so I was happy that I O'ed at all!! But I will stop taking the Femaprin until AF comes!
