So I have always wondered if your baby is bigger if they are exempt from the dangers of early birth? They don't consider a baby full term now until 39 weeks. But..if your baby is the size of a 3 week old when born do they not have the same risks? Like developmental delays, breathing trouble...etc.

But there have been several ladies on this board that recently had average sized early babies, even 4 weeks early, that have been 100% fine.

Hi ladies!
it's been a while since I've been on. I just thought I would pop on and say hi and I hope you are all well.
I've been on bed rest the past few weeks with hip problems and now baby is engaged and making things a lot harder arrrghhh!!! Ive been having contractions the last week and leaking waters so hopefully all will be ok.
The end is near though so I'm staying positive.
He is measuring a good 2 weeks ahead so hopefully he will make his appearance before his due date, but not too early.
Take care ladies I will pop in and out more often. X

So tonight dh took the rest of the baby stuff out off the attic. With it came a large bin I totally forgot about filled with maternity clothes, nursing bras, etc. but what was most exciting? There is about 10 pairs of barely worn, large, cotton granny panties! I have never been so happy to see old lady underwear in my life!! At this point, comfort is key! Can't wait to get them out of the wash! LOl!

granny panties..lol. Love it.
Well, I had a Dr appt yesterday. They were thrilled with my blood glucose #s. Yay me. Just said to keep it up. I finally graduated to weekly appts. Makes it seem so close and so real. I have an ultrasound next time to get a size estimate on the baby, we'll see if she's breech or not and they might start checking my cervix...said they do that at 36 weeks which seems a bit early to me but whatever.
They also said that if I went into labor they wouldn't do anything to stop it! That freaks me out!!!!

Ok, I've gotten downright grumpy! Anyone else? Everything is making mad or sad or a combination of the 2. DH and I got into a fight (he started it) last night....we NEVER fight. I can say that honestly. But he had no right to start what he did (stress at work right now) and it ended up making me feel awful and it has just spiraled from there. The upstairs is a mess right now and that doesn't help. But I am telling you, these hormones have GOT to settle down!!!
I'm not emotionally ready for the baby to come yet but I will be glad to start to feel normal.
How is everyone else?...Hope better than me. lol.Now SIXbabies!
