Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

Sweetpea my best friends daughters name is Elianna and we call her Ellie. She was born 3 days after my son and now they are best friends too, lol. Oh and my husband Julian was named after both his grandmothers Julia and Lillian. If we had a girl the first time her name would have been Julianna. Loving all your girl names!!!! Your boy names are awesome too! Quite a few biblical names. LOVE IT!
We are looking at Josiah Landon for a boy. We just decided Joelle for a girl. Still working on middles. Firsts are daunting enough, lol.Last edited by Praying4Pink; December 7th, 2012 at 06:12 PM.

I wasn't 12 weeks, I was 13w4d and the babies were measuring 14w1d. From what I've read, if you can get a clear flat nub shot at 13 weeks or after, it's a very good chance of being a girl. But not only did I get a classic girl nub shot last night, the tech was able to get a really good potty shot, clearly showing the 3 lines. She was 100% confident that Baby A is a girl, and she's been doing this for 15 years and hasn't been wrong once yet. I feel pretty good about that.

Sweet baby boy, you are loved and missed more than you will ever know.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wonder what
you would have been like. I love you and miss you so much.
Rest now, my baby, in the loving arms of Jesus.
Biggest shock of our lives - surprise BFP! And it's a GIRL!!!

It all depends on whether or not you have a really good tech, if the baby's in a good position, and if you're over 13 weeks. Those things make all the difference! Either way though, I am super excited for your scan - I have such a good feeling for you, cvd! Hopefully the craziness of the holiday season will make you too busy to worry about gender, and then before you know it, your scan will be here! What is the date of it again?

Glad to hear you guys like the name Eliana, that's probably my top pick right now.
I love the nn Ellie, too. I love names that have significant meanings. Both of my boys' names are Hebrew names that mean "Gift of God" (that wasn't planned, I just happened to like both of their names, and they just happened to have the same meaning). Eliana is also a Hebrew name, and it means either "God has heard" or "God has answered" (I've seen both meanings for this name). Either way, it just seems so fitting because I have spent years praying for a daughter, and God has surely heard and answered my prayers.

Thanks sweetpea! Yes babe is doing ok in there. I want to say now it is a girl because she is keeping me on my toes! Lol. I suppose as long as it stays brown/pink and there is no cramping then I shouldn't worry much. I am getting the NT done Tuesday so I will be able to see how much the little bear has grown since I last saw him/her. The popping I feel is the same as I felt with my son. I'm already convinced it is the baby, lol. Yeah yours probably is too! I think us moms know the difference between our babies and gas!!

I like your names Sweetpea.. I love those older style feminine pretty names too. I actually am totally loving the name Aveline at the moment (av-el-een) but we're sticking with Saskia.
As for boys names... Oh my goodness.. Not getting anywhere!! We had Nash Keenan picked, but dh seems to have changed his mind and we can't agree on anything.. That's very odd for us because with both of our boys, I found the names, fell in love with them instantly, and dh loved them too. I'm hoping it's a sign that we won't need a boys name...anyway. The names we have on the "list" are Reid, Shepard, Arden, Quaid and Nash is still there too. I don't "love" any of them, but I think I really like Reid the best.
