So sorry you are not feeling ok Mum23boys
And being sick and nauseous doesn't help at all. You will start to feel better in a few weeks time and feeling better will also make you feel more positive about the baby you are carrying, even if it is a boy. Personally I can't imagine having to wait for 9months to know the gender of the baby cause the more I wait till I know, the more hope I get. Sometimes I just admit it to myself that it is def a boy, it's just as if it just can't be girl, sort of it would be a miracle if it was a girl. But other times I start hoping and dreaming of hearing 'it'a girl' and I just start crying cause I know I'll never gonna hear that phrase in my whole life.
I wish I had a magic wand and take all this GD away from us all. I'm praying everyday that I start accepting the fact that I'll have a boy, but honestly I know that I'll always feel there is something missing in my life even when years will pass by.
Hugs to you my dear, hope you will be feeling better soon!

So I'm so anxious for Friday! And my mom just called to tell me about my cousin, actually his wife. She is due 2weeks behind me and she went to the same gynae I'm going last Friday and gynae tried to look at her baby's gender but baby had crossed feet and he couldn't see what it was. So I'm so much hoping that it won't be the same with my little one next Friday. When I had my son, we also got to know gender very late in pregnancy cause dr could never see what he had down there. This sucks
I just want to know, no matter if he's a he or a she. I need to start forgetting wanting a girl completely!

AH I'm so jealous!!!! I wish I was getting a scan this week lol!
I'm counting down the days till yours too now! SO EXCITING!
I am officially 16 weeks today - seems the time is just flying. Literally feels like yesterday I found out I was pregnant! I have no symptoms anymore, other then being super tired at night. After DS goes to bed at 8, I am literally done and could fall right asleep too! I went to a maternity store yesterday, I HATE MATERNITY CLOTHES SHOPPING, and I just wanted to get a zip up sweater, they don't carry XS and the size S I could have literally stored another adult in the sweater with me. Like not just the tummy section of the sweater, the shoulders came about to my elbows. Not sure why they assume that cause your pregnant you can't still be petite lol. So disappointing! But that's okay. Last preg I bought 1 sweater and 2 summer shirts, other then that I wore all my normal clothes right till the bitter end, which I intend on doing againAre any of you ladies in the maternity clothes yet?

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

Same here hun. Went to buy a pair of black trousers and a pair of jeans last Thursday. Guess what, I couldn't find my size 6 or small or XS. They were all huge. As you're saying, I guess they assume we're gonna be super big
I finally found one pair, and it was the only pair available, of jeans and got it immediately, and found a pair of black trousers size 8 but I don't know if I should have bought it cause it is still a little big and the tummy part is def big. And I wanted to wear it for Xmas cause the other trousers I have are now too tight and I don't have anything to wear
And as for shirts, that's another problem. All shirts here are super light in fabric. I want something warm, woollen shirts. It's winter here now so def need something to keep me warm. Plus since starting the LE diet and even now that I'm pregnant, I feel colder than I used to feel. There are very few shops around here that sell maternity clothes and the ones there are, they seem to have just half a dozen items and that's it. And I'm afraid to buy from internet, cause they might not fit and I can't give them to anyone like I usually do when I get something from interenet which doesn't fit.
I'm wearing my new maternity jeans now, which I'll probably will be wearing very often! But def need to buy more stuff. I'm kind of getting a belly this week, it's as if a minute there was nothing, a minute after it popped out

Yep totally agree with you both, its difficult when it's only your bump growing. I'm still in normal clothes and will probably stick to normal clothes until the end. I just buy jeans that do up under the bump and t-shirts/ jumpers that are meant to be long.

I bought some waist band adjusters last time to be able to do up the buttons on my normal jeans. They were so cheap compared to buying maternity jeans! Worked until I was about 7 months or so and then I did need a pair with streeeeetch!
