Mum - I'm so sorry about your vanishing twin. And I know this is easier said than done, but try to stay happy and strong and positive for the little babe that *did* make it. Like others have said, girls are a bit stronger and don't miscarry as often as boys do, so perhaps you've got a little pink bean in there? I that everything goes smoothly for you here on out. When is your next scan?

Hi hun thanks for your words - next scan is 4th Jan at epu as they dont know i had the private scan then my 12 week scan on Jan 22nd just keeping everything crossed realy and as mad as it is ive been wishing taht somehow we'd see both of them again that miracles would happen and the other baby would miraculously come back to life - i know it wont happen hence its so mad but i dont think im fully ready yet to admit its over - perhaps once the sac etc dissapears and i stop seeing them both on a screen.

Afraid not as baby was only measuring 3.6mm while the one with hb was measuring 13.8mm. At the first scan it was the othewr way around - they both measured 5 weeks old and only 1 had a heartbeat but sadly its that one that passed away at about 6 weeks but the other developed and is now measuring 7+5 so with such a big difference there is no hope

SO! I was originally going for my ultrasound next Thursday, a week today, but DH got asked to work and won't make it so I called to see if they could fit us in while he is still on Christmas holidays so I am now going for my ultrasound TOMORROW at 11am!!!1 It is almost 3pm here now so it's super duper close!!! I just want to go to sleep so it can be the morning lol.
I will be updating you ladies asap. We are doing a "gender reveal" photo shoot for this pregnancy so other then DH, I will have no one to celebrate with! Hehe! We have told a few people we were going for an ultrasound in the beginning of January but we aren't telling anyone we are even going tomorrow at all. SO EXCITED. Fingers crossed SHES cooperative lol

I had vanishing twin with my 2nd son he was absolutely fine after it
And as you can see 2 m/c
I am still so scared about this one
Over the moon but just want it to be further along
