Thank you everyone. Now I'm just more worried about people's comments. all along my mil has been such a downer so I know when we tell her she's going to have some snarky remark. No one knows we went today, I'm not sure if we should just tell everyone or keep pretending we think its a girl.

Sunflower I am so sorry. It makes me feel silly being upset when you just had to go through all that. I can't even imagine how you feel. My heart goes out to you and your fam. Xo.

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

Sorry you didn't hear pink cvd. But congrats on your healthy baby son. Don't feel guilty for having GD, it's very normal to realize that your dream of a daughter may never happen.

Sunflower, I'm so sorry you had to go through the loss of both your babies and also must be very emotional having a D & C. Wish I could take away some of your pain.

Mum23boys, hope things are getting a bit easier for you hun.

Sorry to hear you are vomiting daily Maple. Morning sickness is such an awful thing to go through and I really hope you start to feel better soon. I find when I get more rest I am less sick, but that's easier said then done with kids already I know.

Hope everyone else are doing okay.

Oh CVD, I'm sorry you didn't hear pink today. I know that other posters have said it but it's true-my boys share a very special relationship and I wouldn't want it any other way, they're best buds for life. Congrats on your son and thanks for updating.

Sorry you didn't hear girl. I know exactly how you feel. I was convinced DS2 was a girl. My pregnancy was so different and everyone kept telling me that I looked like I was "carrying" a girl. When the US tech told me we were having a boy I was in shock. I didn't even say anything I just punched my DH and told him this was his "fault"... the US tech looked at DH and said "you know she is right" so everyone had a good laugh but as soon as the US was over I cried in the elevator. I then had to go to work where everyone was waiting for me and I had to publicly announce I was having a boy. I don't think you should tell anyone what you are having until you have really dealt with your feelings about it. People will say stupid things and you need to be in a state of mind to be able to shrug them off.

As far as you DH getting a vasectomy I think you should wait until your youngest is a couple of years old. The only worse than getting a vasectomy is getting a reversal. I thought I wouldn't want anymore kids. I really didn't picture my life with anymore than two kids. Everything seems to be made for a "family of four". But as time passed I found myself wanting a 3rd baby (even if it is another boy).

You are going to love the relationship your two boys will have. It is really fun watching my two play and seeing how they due truly love (and love to fight) with each other. I love having two boys... I just also want a girl

Here he is . We did some baby clothes shopping after - it didn't bother me much to see the girl stuff. We are looking at names now. I have a feeling this is going to be a tough pick lol ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356735399.820457.jpg

Sorry it's not good quality. I took a pic with my phone. I only got 1 since we just chose a basic package. We're going back at 28 weeks for the full thing when his features are developed we had the hardest time choosing a picture. He literally was posing for us the whole time, he kept changing his position. So ACTIVE!

Hehe I had to chuckle because when we got into the car I told DH it was his fault too lol. I am feeling better about it I think. We went baby clothes shopping after and it didn't seem to bother me to see the girl stuff! I had a really good bawl in the car but I think I got it all out. And thanks for your input about the vasectomy, we will worry/discuss it more after the baby comes not making any set in stone decisions yet

I think I read somewhere where you are 22 and your DH is 26... you two have a long long time and I know right now you are chasing around a little one and having another one and the next few years are going to be a little crazy with two little ones but wait until you have a 8 year old and a 10 year old and all your friends are having babies... you might just get the baby itch again

Ya I know what you mean! Unfortunately, as an only child I'm pretty set in my ways and tough to sway lol we will see how we feel when we have to cross that bridge! You never know!!

Cvd so sorry you didn't hear pink honey but the baby is SO cute! Yes now you have to tackle the name game. It will be super fun though. I love the shopping therapy idea!
