I have never had an adequate amount of calcium, maybe eat 2 pieces of cheese per day, and have conceived 3 boys. Would you change things for a pink sway and add a supplement or continue as I have all my life? I ate very boy friendly with my first 2 boys but I did sway pink with my last guy and failed. Thoughts?

I was considering not taking calcium & mag as i read a thread that indicated the mums that didnt take calcium & mag were having more sucessful pink sways ( about 10%) .... but now that you have mentioned it when conceiving my boys the most calcium I would've had on a daily basis was just the milk in my cereal . I have never been a big cheese or yogurt eater!! So i think I'm going to jump back in the calcium & mag bandwagon & try to relax as I think j that us girls that have boys tend to be a little more stressed and obsessive in nature
good luck

Ladies I was worried about calcium too. I had daily calcium with both boys. I was stressing about but came to the conclusion that there is no way cal mag can sway that much. At least not from experiences of women around me who have girls. Heck, I asked my mom about her diet when she conceived me and she said she barely got any calcium and had to force herself during the pregnancy to drink milk. Go figure. There has to be many other factors at play here.

That's up to you - I personally don't think the data supports cal/mag swaying pink and you can read about it here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...roversial.html and here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/sway...cting-fgd.html
I ate tons of dairy as did my DH when we got all four of our boys and then got our girl when we were hardly having any.
that having been said, if it feels "right" to you in your gut, people have gotten girls while taking the cal-mag, so it is possible. I woudl stay well away from the Vit. D though.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Same here. I've never seen my mom, stepmom, or MIL, or my dad/stepdad/FIL drink milk or eat much cheese at all and they all have girls. Whereas DH and I drank a quart of milk a day with our first two and with our second two DH was still drinking that much milk and I ate yogurt and cheese by the pound LOL. Then we got our girl with hardly any dairy at all. It just doesn't add up to me - if cal-mag was REALLY swaying, there would not be all these exceptions going both ways.

Thanks ladies. Any ideas what to do with my husband and him producing so many boys? I think he has high testorerone...lost hair on top of his head by mid-20s, high sex drive, high stress from his job, etc. What should I do to help lower this?

Licorice root 450 mg 3x a day, the first 14 days of your cycle and then he needs the rest of the month off. No sooner than 2 cycles before you start TTC and no longer than 6 months without a break. If he has history of high blood pressure, heart, liver, kidney disease he should skip it.
