on a website I found it says it's in capsule form, but also that it includes quite a lot of multivits so might not be good for a pink sway:

No, coral calcium is just calcium that is originally derived from coral. It contains a lot of other minerals in it, some of which will sway blue and some of which are highly dangerous and toxic. It may be in the chemical form of calcium citrate, but there are calcium citrates that are not derived from coral.
Weirdly, coral calcium ~may~ sway pink because it has impurities such as mercury and lead http://www.bonespur.com/lead_mercury_poisoning.htm that the coral absorbed from the environment. That is not a sway I want to have, it is extremely dangerous, and I do not think anyone should take coral calcium when they are in their childbearing years at all let alone TTC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minamata_disease In fact I am super glad you asked about this because I need to add it to the "dangerous things for swaying essay" and I had forgotten about its existence.
My FIL took coral calcium for years and years and he has Lou Gehrig's disease - not saying they are related in any way but then again no one knows what causes it.
Also, a lot of coral calcium is harvested from extremely endangered corals http://supplementguy.articlealley.co...nt-142371.html and I just feel it's also better for the environment to avoid the stuff.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
