Hi everybody! I messaged atomic this, but just in case it gets lost in the mess of notices I bet shes gettingI figured Id drop a post onto a board and get some opinions. Im trying to sway pink, and wonder how this looks for the day diet wise. I go food shopping tomorrow and to be honest, the cupboards are pretty much bare today for me! This was my 'plan' for today.

I ranged a bit high on sodium, but still within normal sway range. i didnt make minimum potassium, but if there was a banana or some other low cal option I would have been right at the minimum. Im not sure where everything else falls, good or bad. I have a post it note with the sway notations on my laptop since you cant adjust the levels to what you want using MyFitnessPal.
I also dont normally eat breakfast, but sometimes my blood sugar dips too low and I get dizzy and feel like Im going to pass out. In general, I try for lunch, dinner, and a meal-like snack later in the night to hold me over until the next afternoon. Any options on what I should switch out? Things I should eat more of instead, etc?
*Note- I sway harder for lunch/snack and opt for a 'normalish' dinner with the family, trying to keep within my levels. It keeps the DH happy, because if that man isnt happy with his food then hes quite the bear to deal with![]()

Huh.
The prob is, I don't recognize any of those foods that are ready made. LOL Jalepeno mac and cheese? Idk...this looks a little starvation mode to me. Maybe the cals are higher on the packaged things? I don't know...but it doesn't seem like much bang for your buck.
I wish I was more help. Maybe some pasta or rice dishes to fill you up a bit more. Don't be shy on the vegetables either.

Yeah, lots of convenience within that, which is why sodium was a bit up.
I go food shopping today and will be picking up more things that I know will last me, now that I understand the diet better. I just wasnt hungry yesterday, I had to force most of that down just to make minimum calories. The jalapeno mac is what I made for dinner. MFP (the food diary page) lets you fill in recipes, the servings and figures out the values for you. I need to make a normal dinner or DH gets crabby.

I picked up caffeine free diet coke, white rice, pastas, low sodium bread, sugar free jam, unsalted butter, cucumbers, apples, raspberries, strawberries, iceberg lettuce, carrots, bananas, fat free yogurt, skim milk, corn, popcorn (the kind you pop yourself, no butter or salt), laughing cow wedges and prepared horseradish, which is low sodium but packs a ton of flavor which I think would be good for me. I think Im good for this week!

I was going to suggest the white rice...I actually missed the brown rice in your lunch before and I thought you would starve to death but you are probably ok
Good luck xx

Some days, I just dont want to eat and find it a struggle to get to 1200 calories. Im not a small woman (down to 201lbs from 244 the day I got on the scale after birthing DS2) and never really have been, so the only conclusion I can make is that dieting shrunk my stomach? Because I could pack away a lot of food. Im wondering how Im going to eat as much as I have planned tomorrow. Its pretty good, a teeny bit higher in sodium than I wanted (want to try for 1000mg max) but Im pleased. Likely Ill add the yogurt and banana to the lunchtime meal, the veggies (salad stuff) to dinner, and then leave perhaps just the popcorn for later so my stomach isnt screaming before bed. That seems like so much food to me... but its so little calories.
And thank you!
