there have been times where im starting to snack or starting a meal and realize im not prepared with my protein source. so i start cooking my turkey bacon. is it okay to eat carbs and proteins like 10-15 min apart or should they REALLY be eaten together?
another example is i eat a larabar within 30 min of waking up in the AM, then around an hr after waking, im starting my breakfast (cereal usually), can i count the protein from the larabar or do i have to get a full 30g of protein with my cereal bc its been too long?
another one: if im full during my prepared carb+protein meal and just cant finish it from fullness, do i still need to swallow down the minimum 30g of protein at main meals??
also how much can the body absorb potassium at a time, i'd like to eat that effectively and not overdo it.
man sometimes i feel like im on fearfactor or amazing race trying to swallow down this food to win the money! dont mean to constantly complain but now i can see why i have girls..i enjoy starving! ;-)
and MAN not sure if its just me or everyone else here on the boy diet but (TMI BIG TIME!!) the sizes of my bms! geez. its like i ate a horse. sorry.

in general 4oz of meat is about 28-30g of protein. thats what ive been using. otherwise if youdo seacrhes online, itll tell you what diferent cuts of meat has what amount of protein in it. i just use the 4oz thing. or its something like 1oz of meat has 7g of protein...

1)10-15 min apart is fine. 45 min to an hour is prob. too long.
2)You can count the protein in the Larabar, but more protein is only going to help you. As long as you're getting like 90 g a day or more, you should be ok.
3)If you get full, set your meal aside and come back to it whenever you can. Treat it as a snack if you need to.
4)To my knowledge there is not a limit on potassiun via diet that I have seen or could find. I would just break up my potassium intake into smaller, manageable chunks and eat it throughout the day.
5)Haha that is funny!!! I on the other hand am hardly ever full!!!
