Well then, fingers crossed I am pregnant then!! :-)
Just one last question though. I understand how a short LP could prevent pregnancy but what is the association with mc if your bodies hormones take over anyway?'
(atomic sagebrush reply)
'They used to think that low prog could cause the lining to slough off and this would cause a loss of a normal pregnancy that otherwise would have made it. But subsequent study has seemed to indicate that healthy babies, once they stick enough to register on a preg test, increase prog all on their own by signalling your body to start cranking out the prog. And pregnancies that weren't going to work out, don't work out anyway despite the progesterone, and all prog support does is drag out a pregnancy that was doomed from the very beginning. If hte baby was developing right, it would have signalled the body to make extra progesterone. If that doesn't happen, it means that something was not right.
So basically, once you've have a pos preg test, all the prog can do is maintain a pregnancy that wasn't meant to work out - betas won't go up, the baby will stop growing, and eventually it will be a MMC (missed miscarriage) and the progesterone will need to be discontinued at that point to allow nature to take its course, or a D and C will be done.'

Wow, that's awesome. Thanks for all this info! You seem to be having the same thoughts I am so it's helpful to hear others opinions. For me, I'm 11DPO and CD29 (I'm almost always a CD28,29 person.. I've had the odd 31 day but that's been with a CD22 ovulation). I'm going to assume that for me, the fact that I'm now at 11DPO and have never had that long in months that the LP problems might not be an issue. This is all just me assuming things but I'm guessing that people who have chemicals find out at around 8-10DPO and then end up getting AF around 13-14DPO like usual. I'm not sure how it works with a short LP though.. maybe if you got a + at 8DPO and your LP is max 10 days you might get AF on 10DPO. With short LP I feel like the only chance of pregnancy is if you were going to have a longer LP anyways, or if you had a early implantation. I think I had a 7DPO implantation.. so even if I was going to get AF on 10DPO.. enough hormones may have been produced between then to hold of AF. If implantation had of taken longer I would have just assumed AF came and was never pregnant.
I like you also wonder though about the uterine lining. I've read that LPD can cause implantation problems because lining is too think. I wonder though if that applies more to people with longer cycles? I've also heard the same for late ovulation.
I don't even know what to think and I'm honestly trying to not even get excited because I just don't know. I have some symptoms, but nothing crazy. I'm all congested, but only in one nostril?!? I'm wondering if it's a cold as my youngest also has a runny nose. I'm exhausted.. but that could just be from my body fighting a cold if it is one. I'm crampy which is very common for me during early pregnancy and I've had the odd wave of nausea but no sore boobs or anything like that. With DS1 I didn't have sore boobs either though so who knows. It's still early, i'm not even 4 weeks!
I really hope it's a BFP for you. Either way it's great your having a longer LP this cycle!!!

Kinda the same as yesterday.
Is it a BFP?
And if it is should I be worried its not darker than yesterday's?
Have had quite a bit of cramping in the last 24hours, not sure what to make of that. I'm a little bit confused. Obviously if it is my BFP then I want to start eating properly!

definitely has some pink to it for sure! Mine got slightly darker from 10DPO to 11DP but not by a huge amount. I don't think at this stage(especially 8DPO and 9dpo) your going to get a super dark one unless your hormones jump like crazy. Just keep testing in the coming days, but it looks promising!!!! The one thing I hate about testing early is the longer wait for safety. I can't believe I'm not even 4 weeks yet, AH!

Well if I'm pregnant I'm only just over 3 weeks which is mad. Every twinge, cramp or (sorry tmi) wetness I feel I run to the loo and check. If I'm not pregnant I still want my period to hold off as long as poss (to 14 days) meaning my LP has sorted itself out.
Will keep testing... All a bit bizarre. Can't really take my head there yet. Just seems too unlikely. Would be wonderful though. :-)
