Sorry to hear everyone's troubles. Weezie that must have been so scary with your DS being so sick.
I am really struggling with back pain in work at the min. I do be fine at the weekends it is just desk work related. I have tried adjusting my chair into several different positions and brought in cushions but no use. Only 7 more weeks to get through before mat leave.

Weezie sorry to hear your son was so sick, my eldest was really rough over christmas, it lasted for ages and he was almost hallucinating a times. I hate it when they are sick, the first few days until you know its just a normal bug etc and nothing scary is always so horrible, i hope he's better very soon and you are holding out ok x

Thanks Mrs P. He definitely seemed better today. Chatted and ate more but is still sleepy and unsteady on his feet. Fingers crossed for his strength to return by the weekend!

Hopefully he will be back on his feet by then, they go down like lead balloons but they also seem to bounce back quickly to, kids never cease to amaze me with things like that they just get on with it.

I remember tom was really rough the week before christmas, he had the week off school but got worse on the wednesday and was still really poorly by the weekend and missed most of christmas day, he was too rough to even open his presents (a first) but by the day after boxing day he was on the mend and raring to go for the party we had. I hope he enjoys his birthday

Hope you all feel better soon and breeze through the third trimester. I've had a stressful weekend as DS1 has had really high temperature and sore neck, shakes, dizziness, double vision etc. All a bit scary as some of the symptoms of meningitis and septicimia. We've had him sleeping on his ReadyBed next to our bed to keep an eye. Today finally (after nearly a week) he's chatting more and his temperature is normal. He still looks like he's been drinking when he tries to walk but he's getting there. It's his and DH's Birthday this Sunday so I hope he's better!
Poor little bunny... Sick kids are the worst.. Like mrsp said, they seem to go down really quick with whatever it is but hopefully bounce back at the end just as quickly. It's very hard on us mummies too. Hope he is right by the weekend. xx

Weezie-that sounds terrifying! I hope he's much better today.

Thanks for all the kind words while I was sick, guys. I love this group It was a hellish 24 hours for me, but luckily it was short. I'm much better now but I really need the rest of this pregnancy to be healthy, I'm so worn out from illnesses and backaches. I want to be tackling baby things like her nursery and closet but I'm just too pooped. I hope all of you are feeling well. Sadly, it sounds like I'm not alone in my pregnancy suffering. Seems that many of us are dealing with backaches

I lost it with my DH this morning because I feel he's not helping me enough around the house. I felt like screaming :" I was once a perky 20 year old. Then I met you, you impregnanted the crap outta me 3 times and put me in charge of running a house and family. All I do is run around trying to clean up after you and these boys, plus work a full time job and now look at me! I'm THIS mess of a woman." Having one of those days. Plus, my DS2 has a very puffy and red penis, so I'll have to find time for a dr.'s visit today...aaaaaarrrrgh!!

Jadis- I think we all have those days.

My DH is out of town this week and it has made me realize that he does more than I thought he did because I am exhausted this week and we just found out that the new position the are giving him will require more frequent travel which really stinks. I don't know if it will help but my boys are about the same distance as your children are going to be and I definetly felt like it was easier to adjust to having a third child then it was to having the first or second. I can sympathize with the homemaking, childcare and working full time it definetly is not easy. I am also a full time student on top of everything else so we are trying to find a way to budget me being able to be off next year so I can finish school.
