Hi everyone, we made it to Luxembourg on Friday after a long and exhausting plane ride but everything went smoothly. Still quite jet lagged and trying to adjust to everything here with our two little boys. I'm enjoying all the food though that I haven't had in over 4 years. I haven't been able to really catch up on here except I read Northern's blog and am so completely heartbroken for her. And what I am feeling is just an infinitesimal fraction of her pain. These things are so unfair.

I have to go and catch up on sleep but I do miss being able to come on here more easily and regularly.

Flying in that C-17 was quite the adventure but having to wear ear protection the entire time was tough! The boys did really well though. image.jpg

I'm having a very hard time thinking of a middle name for Lennon... I want something that's 3-4 letters cause we hyphenate the last names cause I refuse to give mine up cause ds1 isn't dhs s. and there was no legal adoption to give him the same last name and me and DH are not married so I refuse to have my children not have my last name and and have different name than ds1....bot of our last names are 6 letters so it's quite a mouthful lol

Diva, that looks quite an adventure. My big girls would love it.

I agree about being harder on the first. I expect much more from DD1 than DD2 in terms of behaviour etc and they're only a year apart.

My anatomy scan is in a week and a half and I'm getting nervous. I think Northern has reminded us all that a healthy baby is the most important thing.

Ds1 has middle name jean (French John) and if I did do John people would think that he's def named after John Lennon lmao I like to name my kids after family members but now thatmim on boy number four its a tad difficult altho ds2 middle name is abel just cause I like it Ezra's middle name is lee... I suggested using my dads name (Frankie) but DH got jealous and it is too long but his dads name is Antonio and I dont want a Spanish name... Hes Portuguese... In the end it will be what I want he has no naming power... I kind of like Avery but people say its a girl name lil

Blah I have 3 sick kiddos :-( it's certainly exhausting. I'm not 100% either and have no energy at the best of times this pregnancy!

Wag-I agree, I also like Max. I do like Avery but I do know a girl with this name. No rule to say it can't be used for a boy though! We have all our kids middle names from family members. My DD middle name is Jane after my middle name, DS1 has both grandfathers first names as his middle names, and DS2 hash DH first name as his middle name. If we have a girl this time her middle name will be Lyn after both grandmothers. If its another boy it will be Eric after my great grandfather who died in wwII

Dear Northern, I am so very sorry for your precious loss. I read your story and I just cried and now I feel sick. I cannot fathom what you have been through, you are such a sweet lady, and one I consider my friend on GD. I really care about you and I wish that I could throw my arms around you, I mean really..
It's so NOT fair! And you do not deserve to go through such pain and despair. Please remember that you are a terrific mamma! Please stay strong, and don't give up and remember how much you are loved here. I truly believe that after the storms pass a rainbow will find you. xx
