I am jealous that they are getting what I want...lol, that is petty!! She is going to be another little cutie and my boy will make googlie eyes at her!
I think that it makes me feel like my SIL and brother will have another girl too, and since they are ttcing this summer, I feel that my new baby regardless of gender won't even be acknowledged....that is what is truely fueling my reaction.

I'm in the middle of a BBQ so im sorry for the lack of personals but I just had to come share this fun bit of news with you all... I felt the baby kick for the first time today!!! He actually rolled around and kicked for a good couple of mins! It's by far the best, most amazing thing about pregnancy IMO

I'm in the middle of a BBQ so im sorry for the lack of personals but I just had to come share this fun bit of news with you all... I felt the baby kick for the first time today!!! He actually rolled around and kicked for a good couple of mins! It's by far the best, most amazing thing about pregnancy IMO

So excited for you!!!!! I love feeling movement and I do think that I "might" have felt my little one the other day, but I am holding back thinking that it is movement until I get the heartbeat appt.

Cagirl Glad you are feeling ok have a good few days away.

Emily I feel the same about the nub. I'm too convinced this is another little fella and at the moment I feel ok about it. If I get the nub shot I will start obsessing and become obsessive about it which will then make my GD rage up to all proportions. I don't really know how to get around this, as I am so familiar with nubs (esp boy ones) that I won't be able to help but see on the ultrasound and I can't very well not look at my own babies scan! I honestly wish I had never heard about nubs. I want to have a gender scan date, go and be told....bam... No obsessing... No what ifs... Just "that's what you're having!" "Deal with it" lol

OMG that it is exactly it! I need to be told 100% boy so that I don't hope for a mistake or a nub that starts to defy gravity. I am having weird emotions about this pregnancy. I have been packing up boxes of baby clothes and writing down what we need to buy ready for our trip. Any pink stuff doesn't get added to the list as I am so sure that I won't get to use it. Weirdly that doesn't fill me with as much sadness as i thought. Basically if I hadn't swayed pink I wouldn't be having a third so it is a bit like this baby is my bonus baby. At my age the clock is deafening! Obviously I will be sad but I am hoping that GD won't bite so much this time round.

I don't get jealousy around people I know as I can see how happy they are - but people I see in the street get the full strength hatred stare. Heaven help any strangers shouting at little girls!

My mum, openly admits she prefers girls. As I've said before she cried when we find out DS1 was a boy!! The best I can hope for is "oh well" the worst "I'm so sorry".

Tested again this morning - BFN. Strike 2! Retesting on Wednesday if AF doesn't beat me to it...

I know what you mean! I feel strangely at peace with the prospect of another boy. Wich is such a nice feeling. I don't want anything to spoil that. I doubt I can get through this whole pregnancy without having GD but I know from experience obsessing makes me a million times worse. I turn Into some sort of forum stalker.... I will find an ultrasound that looks like mine..... I will find a story where a boy miraculously turns into a girl etc etc all to fuel the GD.

I do want to know though before the birth! That I'm 100% sure on.

Also If anyone with a girl in tow ever says to me "cor you've got your hands full with all them boys" they better watch out!!

Aww, how lovely! That's got to be the best feeling ever. The little one looks to like BBQs already, bless. ..
