Mathilde, I can relate to your situation. Although there were no failed HT attempts for us, there will only be two children for us. So if this little one is not a girl, which I have a suspicion it isn't, there will be no DD in our family. Whilst that of course makes me a little sad, I am coming to terms with it and the fact that I would make a fab boys' mummy.
Dreamofpink, I am feeling okay, thanks. Spoke to my grandma earlier and she said "Of course we are all rooting for you to have a little girl this time as it would be nice for you all." So I just said "Yeah, maybe, but I don't think it will be and at the end of the day I'll be happy with another little one like our son.
Mathilde, not sure if you have seen my previous post. Would you like me to add your due date to the 1st post or would you rather wait until Friday?

I'm not bad at all, thanks Dreamofpink. Could sleep for Britain right now - my body clock has been waking me up at 4-5am every morning for the last few weeks for no reason. Also craving everything I 'shouldn't be eating', so burgers, chicken and so on. DB wants to take me and DH out for a treat and has been discussing restaurant menus which really hasn't helped!
Am on CD5 today. Going to start POAS from Friday (CD9), I usually o on or around CD13. FX for pink bundles all around!
How's all your side, Dreamofpink? Hope you're doing well x

Dreamofpink, how is the situation with the house going, i.e. selling yours and finding another one?
A bit of a weird question. I asked OH about it and he looked at me as if I've lost the plot. Can you crave other things than food in pregnancy? I feel like I NEED some peppermint shampoo and shower gel. That much that I am already planning on going to the shop tomorrow to look for some even though we are predicted 35 degrees and the heat makes me feel a bit yucky.

Sorry I didn't post sooner! I heard back from the midwife late and was busy with family stuff all day.
The results are still leaving me some room for hope, thankfully! My numbers had not quite doubled, but they did rise more than they had the last draw. Here's what last week looked like: Monday ~6,000, Wednesday ~9,000 (the scary one), and Friday ~17,000. So... I guess maybe the little one hit a rough spot and is now picking up speed again? Of course I have MANY questions now about what that might mean and whether a patch of slow growth indicates any lasting or later problems. But I have a LOT more hope now than I did all weekend, pretty much convinced it was slowing down to a stop! I really can't wait for Thursday for the heartbeat scan, despite all the uncertainty about the slow growth. I am really crossing my fingers that the gestational sac is MUCH bigger this time. Maybe whatever was causing it to measure small also caused the slow betas, and maybe, maybe, the bean is now recovering. I can only hope.
Charlee, I'll say the same as the other ladies here. Your new little man really wanted to come to your family and I know you'll love him so much! Still, hope GD doesn't get in the way too much. Turn to us if you need to vent!
Ugggh, the weight gain question. My best friend was visiting for a week and we ate out about twice a day (she is a real foodie and extremely picky -- and is, ironically, naturally skinny). I gained three or four pounds last week alone. I was kind of treating it like a last hurrah before likely going back on the LE, but now I'm realizing I need to reign myself in and start exercising. If I stay pregnant, this weight stays on! Thank goodness for breastfeeding, though, that will help take it off afterwards.Last edited by Niva; June 18th, 2013 at 10:02 PM.

Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs.Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Niva....sounds like my littlest of the two! He was my slow grower and such and he is a crazy wee beast now!!! I do hope and pray that this bean is just picking up speed and will develop right on target!
Dreamofpink....it was you about the prenatal yoga...which DVD did you go for? I think that is a brillant idea...I was trying one early one, but it was lame. As in she was a nut!!! My little sweetie has a nice heartbeat....only one more month until can use the term he or she. When is your big scan booked for?

Niva, I am glad to hear that your results are more promising and your little bean is now picking up and you will get some final reassuring news at your scan on Thursday.
