We are waiting till August....this last bd was just fun bd last weekend, and the last unprotected one before I hit the O phase, but lo and behold, I got an early ovulation. I mean, I seriously doubt it will get me preggers, but you never know. We are not going to dtd again, just let it go and hope its a bfn. I will admit I'm a bit nervous though. It would be JUST MY LUCK!

I see, it's typical though isnt it. I really hope it's a bfn but if not you'll still have yourself a healthy baby boy/girl. Oh you did ask if DH had a sperm analysis, yes he did & it was great. I had gone on about him quitting smoking & was kinda hoping that the test would prove that he needed to stop but when we got the results & they were good he was like "see i'm fine". I was happy the results were good but was also hoping the result would make him stop smoking

I was reading about IUI earlier & apparently when they wash the sperm & spin whatever that means they can sort for male/female & up your chances for one or the other. I dont know if they'll do it though.

Lola - I would be forever grouchy about it. I'm a tiny bit nervous because I laid off the diet for 5-6 days before we decided to give it one more shot. I was still eating lots of potassium and salt but I was off potatoes and bread. Atomic doesn't seem to think a week makes a difference but if this baby is a girl it'll always be in the back of my head.

I really wish I'd started swaying with gd, DH didn't want to sway after the m/c because I was so miserable the first time around and there was no room for complaining on IG. Until the m/c the the day I posted my sway was the last day I logged in because of how tense it was. We are both so grateful I found this site.

Tink - I'm with Lola on the age thing, 29 is not time to panic. Many of us are well into our 30's and our sway journey. Don't abandon anything after the first month. You've still got time, keep asking questions and keeping track and you'll figure out what works best for you.

Jen, i wouldnt worry about 5-6 days off potatoes because the egg that made the baby you carrying now was made 3mnths ago. I'd say your sway was great & you have a huge chance that it's a boy.

Sorry to hear that things were tense for you for a while, the stress of swaying can have a negative effect on couples. I'm hoping i dont get to a stage where DH are fighting about trying because if i dont conceive by next March i'm giving up & that wont sit very well with him. He doesnt understand that i NEVER wanted to be this old & still trying for a baby, crazy.

To funny about the TV boner! I'm sure you'll have all figured out by Sept. Just keep temping & learning your cycle, eat all the boy foods which are most important & you'll be good to go

Is there any foods that are major boy no no's? and foods that are major boy helpers? I have read both IG's diets and this diet and seem to have picked out what i want to eat. But i am fearful for mixing in any no no's. Any advice?

Are you talking about Microsort? It's in approval land with the government in the US right now, but will be available again next year, I think. It only has like an 80% success rate or something not too great.

Not really, just not too much mercury fish.....Atomic just wrote an awesome post about diet....I think it's called the High Everything for a Boy diet or something like that. It's pretty easy for the boy diet, just make sure you are eating a steady amount during the day so your blood sugar is level all day, and try to eat protein and carbs together for the same reason. And if you do dairy, do full fat. Def read her posts, they are long and informative!
