EMILY, congratulations to you! What a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meeks, I am sure that everything is just fine with baby, although I am also sure that I would worry too. Sigh. Thinking of you.
Ladies, I am almost 13 weeks and no movement yet. My dr told me I have a posterior placenta...not really sure what that even means, but hopefully I will start to feel baby moving around soon. That will ease my mind a ton I think. We have our NT Scan tomorrow, so hopefully I will report back with either a tech guess or a nub shot for me to craze over. HA. More than anything, just asking for prayers that tomorrow goes well and that baby is healthy (though if you wanted to throw in a little blue dust I would welcome itso if you say prayers, please add one in for us! We want this baby so bad...

Meeks - I wouldn't worry about the trampoline at all. I think if anything lifting is a concern because it was pull away your placenta, I doubt it would do anything to just the baby without any spotting or cramping! Plus, when were waiting to feel movement, it somehow never happens!!...
I also agree with the DH sperm stuff. I've also seen a lot of people not be able to get a pink bean to stick! I know of some people too who have had a couple miscarriages and then the baby that sticks is the same gender they already have - makes you wonder if that can be the cause of some people fertility problems. Ugh, which makes me think that I couldn't get a BFP for a good 4 months with lots of solid trying when I was doing the most hardcore sway ever, then the month I drop most things to just get pregnant I get a BFP - will probably be a boy!

^^^ this, is exactly what I meant. I had 4 chemicals, 3 in a row leading up to bfp and I swear if this is a boy, either dh has crap girl sperm, or I can't carry girls. *dustshands* there, I am absolved of guilt either way. Lol
But truthfully I think sometimes (not always, or even usually) this must be the case.
And thanks for the reassurance for the tramp. My logical brain knows this, my emotional ttc for 18 months brain does not!!!DS1 2009, DS2 2011.

MrsBlakely that makes a lot of sense. I think there could be something to DH's girl swimmers. Interesting thought on that! I hadn't thought about it that way!

I felt movements very really with this baby but have no muscles at all now!
Meeks i am sure the baby is fine and already moving again. My understanding of the no lifting in pregnancy idea is that relaxin makes us more likely to pull a muscle. You would have to be really shifting some weights to do any damage to the baby or placenta.
However, when pg (not necessarily this time but whenever) I would always call the doc if you are worried. My logic is that they would rather you call for nothing than not call if there were something wrong. Also, do you care what they think of you? I don't! They are not your friends they are professionals paid to provide a service.

Love your replies! Still no movement but I was thinking anyway maybe the uterus has just moved up a bit, and now there's more space so I can't feel it. My boobs are still growing massively, and I'm thirsty as hell so I imagine everything is ok. Plus what could they do anyway? And I have no bleeding or cramps. My doc (local gp) is crap and has nothing not even a Doppler, and my ob is 2hrs drive away so I will leave it for now unless anything changes.
I'm sure I'm overreacting. The trampoline was about 300kgs though (idiot!!) Haha.Last edited by meeks32; August 20th, 2013 at 12:26 AM.

Update, I had a coffee and felt a kick/squirm. At least I think so. Of course NOW I doubt myself. Haha
Also, brought my first thing for baby... Unisex dummies. Haha I am really not in the spirit of baby shopping yet. I need to know gender!DS1 2009, DS2 2011.

300kg eh? The things we do! I helped set up a volunteer-run library in Morocco including shifting all the books when I was pg with DS1.
Your Doc sounds totally useless! Can you phone your mid-wife if you are worried? My Mother's clinic has started to do phone in consultations once a day so that people can make an informed decision about whether to come in or not.
Glad to read in your later post that you felt some movement. It could totally be your uterus stretching and moving or just a lazy day for the baby. I cannot remember when they want you to track movement but it is a lot further on when things are much more cramped in there.
I have not bought anything for the baby yet. We got soooo much stuff for DS1 that we did not buy much for DS2 either. DH said we could probably use our old clothes for the first year and I just laughed in his face! I am not a particularly girly girl and won't be buying masses of pink but I am not going to dress her exclusively in boys hand-me-downs! Who does he think he is kidding? Time for him to do some overtime at work LOL!
