Don't get too hung up on specific numbers of hours, it can vary depending on your needs for the day and by individual. just go from dinner to late morning/noon without any food coming in. You can still eat 3 meals in the remaining time, skipping breakfast doesn't mean you can never eat during that time of day.
It is important all cycle long and for at least 6 weeks before.
Estrogen dominance is not a medically recognized condition and while I'm not saying it's made up, it's not something that I feel is proven. We do try to lower estrogen overall for a pink sway with the LE Diet, weight loss, and fiber so it's all good either way.

Wonderful, thanks so much for your responses! So if I focus on weight loss, low nutrients, and low blood sugar that would be the most important?
Ph and lowering sperm count would be next, but less important?
I don't want to mess us up so much that we're not able to get pregnant at allDoes that happen a lot with a girl sway? Since we're kind of trying to make ourselves less than optimally fertile?
Last question- about the coffee... it's acidifying right? But it also speeds up sperm after he drinks it, so would be a good idea for DH to skip the coffee on the days we attempt, or would that be silly?

I think lowering sperm count is more important than weight loss, but just want to mention it is very difficult for me to say "yes this is most important" because honestly we don't totally KNOW. I think it is best for you guys to focus on those things which are doable for you and if there was something very difficult, then you can let that go to do the things that are easier (hope that makes sense)
Yes it happens all the time tht people start off too strictly and don't get pg, that is ok though because you just start to drop tactics and eventually it all comes together. What I don't want to see is people starting off super strict, keepign with it afraid to drop anything for a year or some cray-cray lenght of time like that, and then dropping everything. Drop things gradually as you go and that works out best.
It is fine to have coffee the day of attempt, I personally don't think the data supports the idea that fast swimming sperm are doing anything to gender ratio and it will be sure to be out of his system by time of attempt. Some people choose not to have him drink it within a couple hours of attempt.
