    need input for my sway! atomic?

    My 5 sway factors:

    1. Diet
    Starting 8 weeks before attempt
    Vegetarian, NO meat!
    Low everything (1500 calories, 35 g fat, 40 g protein, 700-1000 mg sodium)
    Some non-fat dairy, aspartame if I can stand it (headaches), peppermint tea
    Skip breakfast, 2 meals, no snacking to keep blood sugar low
    Goal is to lose 7-10 pounds (I'm 5'4 and 120 so any more than 10 lbs puts me in an unhealthy BMI)

    2. Exercise:
    No exercise at all OR 6-7 days a week 60 mins or more. I am thinking of exercising as I have been on the diet now 10 days and I actually gained a pound....

    3. Supplements:
    Baby aspirin daily
    Folic Acid daily
    Vitex AF-O
    Saw Palmetto AF-O
    Zyrtec daily
    B6 25 mg daily to lengthen LP and raise testosterone
    Licorice Root for DH AF-O

    4. Timing:
    Either an O+12 or one attempt after a +OPK
    Since DH is not very cooperative with swaying, going to do a compressed FR

    5. Douches/Lubes:
    RepHresh every 3 days after AF ends
    Replens if I do an O+12 (or if I could ever find acijel!)
    Little Sylk for BDing.


    Questions:
    I know losing weight is supposed to sway pink, but when exactly do you up your chances? As you're losing weight? After you've already lost a few pounds? A month after you stopped losing weight are you still in girl territory?

    How much folic acid and SP?

    Where can I get acijel?

    Exercise: can I walk briskly for an hour every day or is that not rigorous enough?

    I think during weight loss sways most after a sustained period of loss

    Have you got some mock up daily meal plans? I lost 11lbs in 9 weeks on le diet and that's with snacking on choc/cake during lunch and tea to buffer the weight loss. That took me down to my minimum bmi. Do you have a plan for if you don't conceive first cycle? If you don't have much weight to lose no girl diet is easy to keep up for more than a few cycles without becoming underweight. Eating more calories on the girl diet is often impossible in one go because of the physical quantity of it fitting in your stomach wihout snacking

    Breakfast: peppermint tea with equal (can't get through the morning without something!)

    Lunches: cucumber sandwich with Low sodium bread with low fat cream cheese OR two pieces of low sodium bread with sugar free strawberry jam and a yoplait light OR 1/2 cup steamed white rice with steamed green beens.

    Drinks: Diet caff free coke or selzter water or a glass of non-fat milk or peppermint tea or CL

    Dinner: 1 cup low sodium pasta with a tiny bit of low sodium low-fat alfredo sauce and some sauteed mushrooms OR 1/2 of a grilled cheese (made with low sodium swiss) OR a "fruit salad" made with skinless apples, a few grapes, yoplait light, strawberries and raspberries. OR a fruit smoothie with strawberries, raspberries, non fat plain yogurt, and a splash of cranberry juice.

    If cals are low: swedish fish, fat free twizzlers or red vines, and for a special treat every now and then, a chocolate chip cookie or low fat chocolate ice cream.

    Sounds like less than I was eating... have you totalled up nutrients for that yet?

    This is where I got my acigel http://www.nz-online-pharmacy.com/pr...nal-Jelly.html You have to get it from New Zealand (without prescription). From your meal plan it does not look like you are eating anywhere near 1500 cal. Possibly why you gained a pound. Your body may be so starved your metabolism is going to slow to hold onto everything to survive. You also mentioned you want to raise Testersterone-maybe a typo bc for a girl sway you want it LOWER! Maybe you meant raise progesterone?
    Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.

    Cycle #2 May/June 2013: 17 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized, 3 blasts frozen. Sending all 4 to Natera: 2 normals- 1 girl (cycle 2) & 1 boy (cycle 1)

    Cycle#4: Feb/March 2014: 12 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized. 1 normal XX! Transfer March 3rd. BFP: 3/9/14!!!! Beta: 7dp6dt:38, 9dp6dt:139!, 6weeks 1 day: heartbeat!!!

    yes, praise progesterone. The B6 is to help with my LP, it was only 9 days and with B6 it went up to 12-13. I also heard it raises progesterone which sways pink right?

    The problem I am having is reaching 1500 calories, so I have been eating a lot of empty things at night like sweedish fish and sweets.

    I answered this yesterday then lost my post somehow! I don't think that walking briskly is going to be enough unfortunately. It really needs to be the type of crazy exercise which will shrink muscle mass and in my experience walking is not going to cut the mustard!

    I was just going to do no exercise at all but I have a pretty active lifestye--a 18 mo DS and 2 year old lab to keep up with, a house to clean, gardening, errands, etc. I just think it might be better for me to go hardcore on the exericise.

    I am SO SO sorry it took me so long to get back to this. You would not even BELIEVE the number of pages of questions the last two weeks and I'm trying to get my cookbook done too.

    First of all, your sway looks great but I read B6 to "raise testosterone" - I think that's a typo and you meant progesterone. Do know that I conceived what was prob. twin boys on B6 and I'm not totally convinced we should be trying to raise progesterone anyway.

    1)Losing weight both lowers your blood sugar immediately, and also helps to lower testosterone and estrogen levels over time. So you reap benefits whenever you lose weight. I believe you still reap benefits after a month, absolutely, and maybe even have given yourself more time for T and E to decline.

    2)Anywhere from 800-2000 mcg of folic, depending on how far you're cutting back with diet. 320 mg saw palmetto from AF-O.

    3)You have to order acijel online and I hope someone can provide you a link.

    4)walking an hour a day is too moderate and will prob. sway blue a bit. Don't worry about regular daily activities like playing with yoru kids tho - you don't need to just lay around and have servants feed you grapes, as long as you're losing weight and eating less protein, your muscle will still be shrinking.
